  1. Hello: I have it on a PCC and on my Carry Optics pistols. They work very well and I am using the stock mount. I think on the PCC I like the 510C in red more. The larger glass helps if you need to cant the rifle to see the target. That maybe just me. I find that they are very bright when put in the manual mode. Thanks, Eric
  2. Hello: I don't think you can go too wrong with a Sig 320 X5. With all the parts available now and grip modules you can make it fit your hand. If you want heavy you can get those parts. If you want a curved trigger, lighter recoil springs and base pads it is all available. I had a Glock 34MOS and prefer the Sig. I have a Glock 17 setup and like it as well. I think if you can shoot as many pistols you will know soon enough what fits you the best. Thanks, Eric
  3. Hello: Do you have the recoil spring on backwards? Thanks, Eric
  4. Hello: I have the Springer plate with my Holosun 507C and it fits great. The dot is amost at the same height as the Romeo 1 was. The plate I used did not need any filing to fit and just slide right in from the side. I really like this setup more than the Romeo 1 6MOA. Thanks, Eric
  5. Hello: Look on Sigs website or give them a call about the X5 slide. Thanks, Eric
  6. Hello: Maybe try a 12.5lb recoil spring and see if it does it. Thanks, Eric
  7. Hello: Another problem with the S&B brass is that the case length is very short and the brass used is very soft. I only use S&B brass for minor loads. I load on an old RL1050 so I don't seem to have primer issues. Thanks, Eric
  8. Hello: I think a lighter recoil spring should help with that. What are you using now? Thanks, Eric
  9. Hello: Using a sizing die still can shorten the brass if reloaded many times. I use a Case Pro and size the brass top to bottom and also the groove. When I reload the brass after going through the Case Pro it reloads alot easier on the handle pull in the Dillon press. Thanks, Eric
  10. Hello: Do all those mags fit the gauge? I would get the longest pin since if it is too long it won't hurt anything but if it is too short it will fall out. Thanks, Eric
  11. Hello: Weight of the handguard is super light maybe 8 ozs with the nut. I never actually weight it. I just know it is super light, just the way I like it. Now to work on the lower next. Thanks, Eric
  12. Hello: I will have to see if I have any of that brass so I can cut it in half to see what the problem maybe. Thanks, Eric
  13. Hello: Here is the Kaw Valley carbon fiber handguard. Thanks, Eric
  14. Hello: Like I told you I think the brass is not sized correctly. The case is not sealing against the chamber so it is getting those soot makes on the side of the case. Note to others this is only with the JAG brass that he is having the problem and I have not seen the brass in person to see if the brass is shorter than spec. He has also told me that the brass looks very thin near the rim. Thanks, Eric
  15. Hello: There are less expensive carbon options out there like the Taccom and KAW Valley. Both are smaller diameter which I like and anything shorter than 15" should work just fine with a 16" barrel. I just built an upper using a Kaw Valley carbon handguard but have a Taccom on my 15/22. Thanks, Eric
  16. Jack, I don't think STI is making their slides any longer. I think they out sourced them like many of the others have. When different makers of pistols that are breaking the slides in the same spot and the grain structure looks the same tells me something. So maybe Bob is getting from the same place as the others are? Thanks, Eric
  17. Hello: So does that mean that Bob is getting them from the same place as STI, CK and some others are getting them from? Like I stated above get one from Caspian/Foster or PT. Thanks, Eric
  18. Hello: I would look for a Caspian slide or a PT slide. Both are made from better steel than some of the other slides out there now. I think alot of the builders are getting the slides from the same place and just rebadging them. Seems odd to me they are breaking in the same spot and the steel looks and machines the same way. Thanks, Eric
  19. Hello: Build your own AR9 using good parts and a QC10 lower. I have had 3 Sig MPX's and they do shoot softer but I don't think they are any faster for me. I can almost build 2 AR9's to the cost of a JP or Sig MPX. Glock magazines are cheap with lots of options. Thanks, Eric
  20. Hello: I am using a Holosun 507C that is solar powered and the battery last forever. Thanks, Eric
  21. Hello: 23 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. I may cut down a spring and see if I can get 24 in the magazine. On second thought ---why. There is always a place to reload so I usually only start with 23, that is 22 it the magazine and one in the chamber. Thanks, Eric
  22. Hello: I am using a Springer adapter plate for my Holosun 507C. It fits very well so far and seems to work with no fitting required. It puts the dot in about the same place as the Romeo 1 that I had on it. More testing to come this week. Thanks, Eric
  23. Hello: It is getting more shooters into the sport including young shooters. I am all for more shooters coming into the sport and having fun. The numbers don't lie that we are seeing more shooters at USPSA matches now since PCC can shoot them. 3-Gun matches around here are seeing fewer numbers. Some of those shooters have come over and are shooting PCC. Thanks, Eric
  24. Hello: I am using just the stock Sig spring and follower and the TTI base pads and can start with 24 when needed. Never had a problem yet but I mostly do 23 rounds to start. I have run 124-147 grain bullets as well. Could the spring be catching on the transition from the base pad to the tube? I'll ask a friend who has your magazine setup tomorrow night if he has any problems. Thanks, Eric
  25. Hello: Could be that your springs are getting a little weak and can't push up that first round fast enough? What bullet weight are you using? Also you may think of just starting with 23 rounds since there is always a place to reload. Thanks, Eric
