I fixed a friends canik stovepipes with a kingglock 13 # guiderod with adapter cup , then the fireing pin spring was strong enough to sometimes hold out of battery causing light strikes , which i fixed with a glock fireing pin spring now he reports all good .

don't remember all details ,but have read before about putting barrel in freezer ,brass shrinks faster than steel ,than find a tight bore brush that will grab the piece.
`another trick for flathead screws . after you have melted loctite. use a very sharp pointed center punch and hammer on almost outside edge , leaning on a reverse direction and tap the screw out.
