Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Awesome. Thanks guys. I might have not been heating it enough. I'll give it a try tonight.
  2. The sight mount screws on my open gun were lock tited down and 3 out of the five came out fine when heated. The last two ended up breaking multiple hex keys and eventually I stripped the screws. Any ideas of what I should do now?
  3. My loads 9mm major loads are starting to leave casings with flattened primers. I'm barely making major with the loads so I was wondering if any one had any suggestions for keeping major and not blowing up a gun and keeping pressure down. I'm loading 7.2g of autocomp under a 124g bullet and at an OAL of 1.165 that makes a PF of 168. Magtech small pistol primers.
  4. I have recently become the owner of an awesome gun set up for 9 major. It runs greats but there is only one exception. Every 20 or so rounds, a spent case gets stuck between the slide and sight mount. It's almost like the sight doesn't allow enough space for a case to eject. I even see a common cut in the sight mount. I'm on the verge of buying a 90 degree or cutting off one side of the mount. Looking for any advice.
  5. Titegroup for minor loads in multigun where there is no power factor. If I could shoot a BB gun I would but the sport requires a firearm. For USPSA i use 7.5 grains of Auto Comp for 1400f/s with a 124 grain bullet.
  6. I've run my 9mm 170 mags for years now and I am switching to a 38 super gun. Do I need to do anything with my magazines?
  7. Once out of 40 rounds the hammer of my custom STI follows the slide and gets stuck in half cocked position. If I re-pull the hammer back, I can shoot it again but nonetheless, 40 rounds later, same thing. Attached are what it looks like after it freezes. It's an gun that I've had for a while and I haven't changed a thing. Just started doing this a couple of weeks ago.
