  1. Probably all the disputed charges people are making if they are either moving delivery dates back or not delivering at all.
  2. I've been running CR speeds for a while, best pouches for the money!
  3. I'm in the same boat as doing as little as possible. Used pins once, never again. If lemishine isn't worth it, I'll stop using it. I just want my brass good enough and not to tarnish.
  4. Hmm, I may have to skip it on my next batch although I do use oneshot as it tends to make everything run a little smoother.
  5. I'm just using the standard wash and wax along with some citric acid (lemishine).
  6. I have some heavy lug baseball cleats I actually found in my basement from forever ago and started using those. They work really well in gravel and have become by go to shoe.
  7. I live 15 min each way from my private club. I shoot pistol league there every Tuesday and use that for my stage practice. I try to get out every other week to work on specific things but having a young family makes that hard. Sometimes I just try to sneak out for a long lunch or take an early Friday and get out there. If I lived any further away it would make that hard.
  8. I would go beach umbrella or small patio table umbrella. I shot in the rain a couple weeks ago and one of the guys had a huge umbrella on his cart and we all took cover under it in between shooting and resetting.
  9. Yeah, that's where I am. I spent $103 on like a pound of various tungsten disks, cubes and balls to pack into the cavity of a few glocks I have and then epoxy in place. I already put 1.5 oz into a large backstrap using the disks and will likely put another 4-5 into the grip cavity. But obviously, this is a more permanent solution than the brass plug but I want to maximize the weight. But I plan to do a silicon carbide grip so I'm not opposed to permanent mods.
  10. That thing looks slick. I literally just ordered some loose tungsten weights to pack in the cavity and epoxy in.
  11. Local has been my best bet lately. Scheels seems to have a ton and scored some CCI 450s from Cabela's this past weekend as well. $65/k
  12. It doesn't bother me at all, cigars are usually the worst but the guys I shoot with who smoke cigars hang towards the back of the bays when smoking. I don't think an RO should be smoking if actively running shooters, rotate out or smoke in between stages. I've also never heard anyone complain. Have you voiced your opinions to those around you smoking in a polite manner?
  13. I would think any laser sets it off but I could be wrong. I demod a bunch of simulators when the NRA convention was in town a few years ago. They sure are nice and you can learn a lot from them, they all used different guns but they all had a red/IR laser. Maybe check out the cool fire laser trainer and see if that would work.
  14. I mean, it costs more than the Mark 7, requires you to ship your press to them for permanent modification and you're stuck at one speed unless you spend more money on a new gearbox. It also likely has no sensors or anything else that would be nice to have. I guess I'm just not sure what market they are satisfying with that product. I think they would compete more with the PW drives that are less than half the price.
  15. Pedialyte used to be my go to hangover cure/preventer. Now in mostly drink water or use nuun tablets. I've gone away from too sweet of a drink as I didn't find that it worked all that well. As mentioned already, tablets or powders are nice if the range has water but I never count on that and tend to being 2 - 1.5 L insulated water bottles and a couple plastic ones that I can throw the tablets in and call it a day. Eat some light snacks throughout the day as well. And remember, hydration doesn't start the day before a match but rather days or weeks before or a lifestyle of making sure you drink enough water. If you're slamming water the day before you're probably just peeing most of it out.
  16. I used to use a DAA belt with some kydex adapters I made for ELS and it worked well but got a good deal on an ELS belt, added a ratchet and it's sturdy. Now I have a belt for 3gun and a belt for USPSA.
  17. No idea, but with the amount of scammers out there I have only been buying from reputable sites. FYI, midway has some CCI SPPs right now.
  18. I'd recommend the DAA or SC belt. You can get away with a cheaper holster and pouches on a good belt and they aren't super expensive.
  19. Yeah, they won't let you shoot the local match if you're late. Safety brief is 30 min prior to first shots and if you miss it you're not shooting.
  20. I have a T nut on the back side and in between the kydex I have one of those black rubber washers over the t nut. I then used a 1.25 set screw with locktite for both sides to lock it up.
  21. My stock gen 5 34 gave me 3 lb flat with Timney and dot connector.
  22. Which is why I'm scared to shoot a S2 because I know I'll be buying another gun then. I run my glocks just fine but I know they aren't the best option, just a cheap and good enough option.
  23. I had to lay my belt flat on a desk with the cr speed bracket over the edge and slowly push it on. That's the only way I've found where I can put enough pressure on it to get it to move. The first one is killer and gets easier after that. I have 4 on my belt.
  24. Thanks. I may have to order one then since it's in stock.
  25. I wonder if they just increased prices. It says $39 but when you select the type it shows $52. But it is free shipping over $50. Any insight into the quality? Was looking at whidden but they are out of stock.
