I went to sign up for the schultz match and it sold out really fast. Here's to trying for April...

BBI says shipping within 2 days, $400 order limit.
-
I mean, it is universal so there's that. I'm assuming they are competing with the MBF pro.
-
I ordered a case last fall and it took 3 months. I ordered the UPS case from BBI and it shipped next day and have been using those exclusively since they are one of the few still shipping fast. Prices have gone up a bit since last order but that's just the case with any raw materials right now. Order a case from precision and a case from BBI to use while you wait. I previously was RMR 124s but with dropping the bull order options I went to coated to save some cash.

I got the email saying they are now available for gen 5, hoping to get tracking info for delivery at some point today or tomorrow. My carry guns are stock as well and I keep a g17 stock that I occasionally train with as well. I'm running out of glocks I want to buy but that yearly GSSF cert still comes that I 'need' to use. If this trigger is as good as it looks to be, I'll put the idea of getting a fancier gun away and just keep running glocks. Edit: just got my shipping notification, should be here mid week.

I believe Steve Anderson is in Ohio as well.

So is the fix to all the issues of just rolling out new rules to maybe make an announcement for a potential rule change, have a period of input from anyone that wants to submit input and then decide if they want to modify the original rule, scrap it, or keep it as is. At least then it won't seem like they are just randomly changing the rules....

Apex 10 and other Mark 7 goodies

Nice. Perfect timing to burn a stimulus or tax refund on! -
I would say loaded with dummies but not the plastic ones but something that adds some weight. I just made a few mags of reloads that are just bullet and casing, no primers and marked those as training mags.

The plugs aren't that heavy tho, like 2 oz right? I looked at getting one but not many made for Gen 5s. I'm going to put some tungsten disks and blocks in that grip cavity and test it out. I'm not sure it will make that big of a difference but I run a mostly stock glock so I figured for the $30 in materials it may be worth it.
-
You're right, I skimmed and missed the bulb/diode part. Looks like I'm sticking a small led light on a block on tungsten for the next match then.... Point is, they didn't think it through at all and there are way too many holes. And by their commentary it pretty much sounds like they know companies are going to start making frame weights with a small light attached.
-
So with WMLs legal, how long before we realize that likely none with hold up to uspsa and everyone will be carrying around 5 lights to every match?
-
Maybe it's PVs way of beating the bots?
-
See, if I 3d printed one, you would just need to keep an extra $5 mini mag light in your bag. It just says a light mounted to your weapon, not something that actually makes sense.

Buying reloading components online, armlist, etc.

Yeah, don't think I would do that. Especially since it's not something that anyone can ship legally. -
Best pistol for a 12 year old to grow in the sport.

It'll likely really depend on hand size and strength. Find something that fits his hand, where he can reach all the controls, and be able to handle the recoil. If he can use your 92x, great, if not it's time to go shopping. -

I get that, but the options are still the same. You can really only go off reputation and hope for the best. If it's some random website that looks sketchy and it's a too good to be true price, probably worth avoiding. I've been buying and selling stuff online for like 20 years and can only remember 2 bad experiences and both were from eBay and both claims were denied by the PayPal protection process even when I had proof that the items I received in both instances were damaged. So it's not an end all be all to buy from so called reputable sources either and PayPal has historically sides with sellers since sellers are paying the fees. -
There is a 3d printed one on Thingiverse. It's just the mechanism to push the case onto the plate but you should be able to run a regular case feeder to that. I'm going to build one in a couple weeks just because I can, not sure it will make anything faster.
