  1. I don't think $150 off a new press is unfortunate, they don't have to give anything. And honestly with the backorders they could have easily cancelled the discount (although it looks like they scaled it back to only presses).
  2. Whose to say those aren't the people currently keeping the supply low? It's hard to tell what stage we are in, once I start seeing 12 gauge back on the shelves I'll know we at least turned the corner....
  3. Ordered a case from BBI on Tuesday, UPS shows delivery for tomorrow. Can't beat that!
  4. All this bullet talk made me buy another case. So I'll do my part to add to the current wait times....
  5. I talked to Mike at Jentra a bit about this and they should be releasing a gen 5 specific guide rod shortly. He said the gen 5s are a little longer than the gen 4s.
  6. Nice! I just got a line on nearly unlimited 6 gallon buckets so I'll be using those for long term storage and then smaller containers of what I'm going to reload this year.
  7. They don't go down in price until they get pretty old. My wife has a 2016 and when we were looking at uses you could get a 2014 with 50k miles for $2k less than new. Traded in her 08 with 130k miles and got $12k for trade in. We actually bought ours through the costco car program and saves a bit but it's hit or miss. I have a 2019 tundra and the costco deal was more that the local dealer was charging.
  8. I'm not running a light. I do have an olight on a different gun so I'll try with and without but unless you're going to run a gamer light I don't think it would matter much.
  9. I thought the numbers had to do with parents issued, which makes it all confusing as there is no order to the numbers.
  10. If you're trying to be cheap, I just flipped the back sight so it was black on a couple of my glocks and that was good enough. I just put the Timney alpha on my 34 and it's pretty nice for 150 and all stock parts.
  11. I'm looking at going the same thing. Going to put in some tungsten blocks in my gen 5 cavity and then putty and disks in the back straps as able. https://www.maximum-velocity.com/product/9-32-inch-tungsten-rod-3-5-ounces/ But this will likely only add 5 oz or so.
  12. I bent mine a little inward towards the housing so there was less pressure pushing the trigger bar against the grip frame. I used a stock dot connector but.ill be playing around with others in the future.
  13. My uncle uses something similar is his pickup in the center console and likes it a lot.
  14. I'd reach out and ask about it. I wouldn't think the 2 cases are over the $400 limit since they went to smaller cases. My past orders would arrive within a week but I would get a tracking number within 2 days.
  15. I'm not looking to get one soon, waiting for the rush to die down. I know guys were ordering a la cart last summer but that likely changed with the crazy backorder wait. Although my last batch of range pickups had a ton of crimped 9mm so that apex may be calling my name sooner than later.
  16. Nice! My wife has a white one and wants blacked out rims.
  17. I just plan to order direct from Mark 7 since they have a military discount. Also going to see if they can price it without the casefeeder as I can 3d print one.
  18. My creep is about 1/16th of an inch, I can get actual length later but it is better. I'll likely end up getting another set for my gen 4 17 at some point as well. Under 2 lbs is pretty good for an all stock glock but I'm not sure I would even see much of a difference in a match.

    3.5# Trigger

Stock gen 5 34 got down to 3 with all stock parts and no there tuning or anything. I could probably get it a little lower by cleaning up the stock parts.
  20. So quick review. Took my stock 34.5 from a 10 pull avg trigger pull weight from 4 lbs 6.9 oz to 3 lbs 2.8 oz with stock dot connector. Stock pull had 0.345" of pretravel and 0.198" of overtravel. With Timney it is now 0.178" and 0.13". Coming from someone who ran stock glocks forever, I really like the new trigger. It has a light take up and a relatively short and somewhat crisp break. I haven't played around before with glock triggers much so I'll leave it up to others to comment but it took me all of 5 minutes to install.
  21. I spoke to Mike at Jentra last week, they should be introducing a gen 5 specific tungsten guide rod kit in the next couple of weeks which would include the rod, reducer ring, and spring.
  22. They sold out in about 5 seconds yesterday. I was trying to get the CCIs and the ginex popped up and I added immediately and the website dies out before I even made it to the checkout page. I thought it was bad last fall but it's nearly impossible now.
  23. Mine says delivery by 430 tomorrow and it's in IN right now but didn't get there until a couple hours ago. So you still have some hope it's just en route and hasn't been scanned yet.
  24. I've been using 231 and sport pistol , I've got a jug of AA2 to use next tho. I did speak to Dave about samples as well and he just told me the flat point 124s work great in the glocks he's used them in so I ordered those.
  25. The local Cabela's has a line an hour before they open every day of the same people that buy up what they can.
