  1. Did you take a torch to the trigger and bend it? Looks odd
  2. It was about the old flat trigger they were using. They've switched to a different trigger in all of the newer guns.
  3. Would the threaded barrel be legal in CO?
  4. I have 2 guns with QC10 uppers (side charging) and lowers (glock), a competition style PCC and more of a PDW style pistol, and have never had a single issue with feeding. I don't have ramped barrels either. (BSF barrels) I prefer JHPs to help keep comps cleaner. I also prefer 115gr on comp'd guns, because it just seems to work better, IMO. However, I have also shot 147gr federal HSTs (my defensive/carry ammo) with no issues. Gun 1 (competition style PCC): QC10 sidecharging glock receiver set JP 9mm bolt BSF 16" barrel APA The Answer comp TriggerTech Diamond Trigger Coda Evolution 15" carbon fiber handguard HD Blitzkrieg buffer with spacer/weight to short stroke Gun 2 (PDW style pistol): mostly the same, but with these changes: BSF barrel is 8" Brigand Arms 7" Atlas carbon fiber handguard Odin Works 3 piece comp with the outer titanium sleeve MBX buffer recoil system I think everything else is the same. Oh, and I use reduced power ar15 springs, which maybe is uncommon compared to the heavier springs others use... but I like the way they cycle and it also makes the side chargers easier to use (can be really stiff with heavy springs). I'd guess it's a problem with your lower, upper, or barrel. I have heard of some people needing to go to ramped barrels to solve feeding problems, but it's never been an issue for me with these barrels.
  5. What about barrel ports and compensators? (sorry, I know nothing about IDPA)
  6. You might also want to consider the new Dan Wesson DWX (comes in both full size and compact) that's coming out soon.
  7. Having trouble understanding what you wrote here... Who are you talking about? A store owner/FFL/gun dealer? You're saying that person prefers the compact, but the others who shot it prefer the full size? Where did people get to shoot the DWX?
  8. Yup, make the frontend heavier while reducing the reciprocating weight. I've been really interested in their integrally comp'd barrels/slides for glocks, but haven't bought one yet. They look like they work really well.
  9. Will there be anything different about it other than that? Different slide cuts or anything?
  10. 2011s with SAO triggers aren't allowed in Carry Optics. If they were, everyone would be using them, because the trigger would be a pretty big advantage.
  11. Unless recoil was significantly better, the B&T APC9 Pro seems like the better buy.... although B&T really needs to offer that gun with the glock mag accepting lower without forcing you to buy the other version first.
  12. FFP is more popular with longer range shooting so that the reticle hold values are always accurate at any magnification. like longer range hunting and precision rifle scopes in 4-20x, 5-25 or 5-27x, 7-35x, etc.... You don't usually find FFP in lower power scopes outside of tactical/military style use.
  13. Does it have an illuminated center dot or only illuminated reticle? It appears to be more of a tactical style scope, competing more with the 1-8x nightforce options that are popular with military use than 3 gun scopes. Definitely looks interesting though. I hope I don't regret my z8i purchase from earlier this year. haha
  14. If only the side charger was non-reciprocating...
  15. Just for an update on this...... after looking into it more, it seems like only the Competition model (K.C. Eusebio's signature gun) is approved for production/carry optics. So, it seems like this would only be legal if you used a G34 length slide and barrel. That's kinda disappointing. There are a lot less aftermarket options out there for G34 slides vs G17 slides.
  16. Yeah, didn't exist when I first posted that. The hyperion, athena, & erebus all look great, but I wish they were more flexible/versatile, like the honcho. I guess you could have different slides for each. Or maybe request an erebus with the athena setup.
  17. So, you think stock gen 2 STI mags are good to go? Just asking, because I have a Honcho on order and was thinking about picking a few of these up. will probably grab at least 2 170mm MBX mags, but was thinking of getting a few STI gen 2 mags to have as cheaper backups/secondary mags...
  18. Finally got the issues ironed out in that gun. I just had to raise the pull weight. I got it 100% functional now and still under a 2 lb. pull. It's about 1 and 3/4 lb.... still pretty good, but not sub 1 pound nice like in the other 2 guns. haha. That's okay though. Not sure why it's like that in this gun. I think it's something to do with the shorter barrel and an effective comp on it. Maybe, it's robbing some energy or something. The other guns are 16" and 18" barrels, whereas this one is only 8"....
  19. Wish they would sell just the barrel/comp, or maybe the complete upper, by itself. I'm interested in the barrel/comp, because it looks pretty effective, but not the gun as a whole.
  20. It will be there https://www.instagram.com/p/B5tpC7Sp_2t/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  21. It would be a good gun for 3 gun for people who don't want to splurge on a 2011.
  22. That already exists, but doesn't meet weight for CO. Whoa. First time hearing about this. Cool that they are offering it SAO from the factory now. That curved blue trigger is kinda hideous though.
  23. With the G34 length slide? I'm still pondering it over... they look like they shoot well, but all of the reliability issues I've heard about worry me a bit...
  24. Have seen a few people report that the recoil from the piston was a little more stout than they were expecting despite the innovative design. Seems like a really cool idea, but it would probably need to be $2500 or under + shoot better than the Shadow 2 to get much success in the US.
