  1. It's meant to be a competitor to the Tactical Sport Orange. It's designed for Limited. I want to see some open guns made out of this thing. Maybe, companies like Primary Machine and Fire4effect, who already work with CZs, will do it?
  2. That's true, but you also get more muzzle rise. I have a BSF carbon fiber barrel (same barrels that Leadstar uses) and Coda Evolution carbon handguard with a good comp (APA The Answer), and I still get more muzzle rise than I'd like. I can keep the dot in the window & track it the whole way on a Holosun 510C, but it rises quite a bit.
  3. Short-stroked 5015HD, using Blitzkrieg's spacer/weight for the short stroke, a JP 9mm bolt, & a 16" BSF barrel = working perfectly for me. The one where I am currently seeing bursts is similar to the above, but with a different barrel length and buffer system.... same BSF barrel but 8", same JP bolt, not short stroked, but using the MBX pcc buffer system with stock settings instead of the Blitzkrieg hydraulic buffer. I'm thinking it's either related to the different buffer and spring or it's just something occurring on some of the Diamond triggers. Going to bring this gun with me to the range again soon to try to work out the kinks with it.
  4. If anyone thinks they've made their gun too light and wants to experiment, MDT makes mlok weight attachments for their MDT ACC (precision rifle chassis) that you could use to add some weight back in where you want it if you have an mlok handguard. I haven't committed to it yet but I'm thinking about maybe getting some to test making the muzzle area of the gun a little heavier. I have a carbon fiber barrel and handguard, so it's pretty light right now... I'm curious whether or not some added weight on the nose would benefit followup shots.
  5. I'm having this burst issue in one of my 3 triggers now. The other 2 (in my 3 gun AR and my 16" PCC) are working perfectly at the lowest setting, but I had a burst on my 9MM AR PDW style pistol. Going to try to figure out what's causing it soon. Think it might be related to the buffer and spring the gun is currently using, but not 100% sure. The funny thing is it runs fine in my AR and longer PCC, which is short stroked. This one isn't short stroked. Hmmm...
  6. @Ssanders224 Just a heads up, I'm sending you a DM. I ordered (and was charged for) 3 cases of 115 JHP and only received 2 cases. Both orders say completed and tracking numbers say delivered (I got 2 boxes today, a case in each), but one of my orders was supposed to have 2 cases and the other 1 case. So, I'm missing 1/3rd of my order. Will give you more details in the DM.
  7. Bump. I am trying to make this same decision now... Get a 750 now or wait for the 1100. I will primarily, and for sure, be reloading 9mm and .223/5.56. However, I may also want to do .300 blackout and some 6mm caliber cartridge for precision rifle use in the future. Any suggestions? I've gathered up just about all reloading materials but the machine itself now. So, I'm ready to buy and have been watching news on the 1100 release.
  8. Any of you try these out? https://www.wideners.com/reloading-supplies/bullets/rifle-bullets/223-bullets#hornady-223-rem-bullets-224-53-grain-hp-6000 Hornady 53 grain HPs in 6k bulk quantities
  9. Honestly, there is no shortcut here. It's expensive and time consuming, but you really need to try a variety of optics yourself to find what you like and don't like. Also, different MOAs look different with different manufacturers/optics/colors. Also, the size and color affects people with astigmatism differently from person to person too. I have a bunch of Holosun 510Cs with a 2 (or 2.5? I forget) MOA green dot, and I like them. I think the green is brighter and more pronounced vs red/orange. However I also have a Swarovski 1-8x scope with a bright orange dot that is more like 7 MOA at 1x and it's actually really great and very easy to pick up. I was worried it'd be too big at first, but ended up liking it a lot. Of course, the prism adjustment on the scope can really help bring the dot into focus. So, it's hard to say how it compares to reflex optics. I have an SRO (5 MOA) and Romeo 3 XL (6 MOA) on order also. I think I will probably like them since they are a similar size to the Swaro. If you want to play it safe/conservative and just want to buy once and hope for the best, a 5-7 MOA red dot optic is probably the best route to go.
  10. That is roughly the conclusion I came to also. I ordered a pair of the Flak 2.0 XLs with Dark Golf & Trail lenses both (so, I can swap them when I want). I can't do TR22 or TR45, because I need a prescription to clear up astigmatism. I figured the Dark Golf would be good for afternoons & really sunny days and the Trail for mornings, overcast days, and indoor shooting. The regular Golf would probably be good too but seemed to accentuate blue/purple too much. I've never used rose/red tinted glasses before. Only brown/yellow/bronze. I like the contrast boost I get from those, and I hear it's even more pronounced with rose/red. So, hopefully I like them.
  11. Anyone have any strong opinions about which is best for shooting between these 3 Oakley Prizm lenses? The Prizm Trail Torch (rose base with an overall orange-ish tint) looks the best to me, but that one isn't available in prescription right now. So, my choices are the original Golf, the original Trail, or the Dark Golf. This page shows their color and specs: https://www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-sport-lens-technology/
  12. I don't follow. I wanted to know what it was here so that I knew whether it was bigger or smaller than the Trijicon and Sig reflex optics I was looking at. It's 0.95 MOA at 8x according to the app, btw.
  13. Mostly 200-350 yards and in most likely. Haven't decided yet whether I would stick with 55 gr or get some 75-77gr for longer stuff. More concerned with just finding a good 55 gr option right now.
  14. Will those lead up the compensator like FMJ does on 9mms with comps (open guns, PCCs, etc.) Looking for something that won't lead up the comp ideally.
  15. Whoops. Sorry. wrote that while drinking lol. Yeah, SFP. sorry. it's meant to be a fast-paced LPVO for sporting & hunting.... SFP with a red dot like a reflex optic, like most 1-6 and 1-8 (minus a few of the tactical/military style 1-8s out there). I like SFP for 1-6x and 1-8x. FFP for longer range.
  16. While it won't look the best, you might consider just adding some 3M stair grip tape around it to make it more comfortable. That's my backup plan if the steel grip is too aggressive for me. Won't look the greatest, but probably much more comfortable. It also should protect against the grip from getting too hot/cold in summer/winter.
  17. I bought one, but paid for it. Honestly, all of the little differences on the builder add up a lot too. A lot of the charges on there are more than what they would be if you just bought the parts separately. For example, the optics plates/mounts, the cost difference between the aluminum & steel grips, etc. are all higher on the builder than if you just look at their standalone prices. My order is almost $5k for a good bit less than what other people are paying now & they get included optics plates, more than one safety, multiple caliber barrels, etc. (I went with one each of every 9mm barrel.) IMO, the 3-gun version should ditch the .40 cal and come with the single port comp. I'm biased though since I don't like .40 and strongly prefer shooting with optics over irons. My current order is basically that + added holes in the frame so that I could switch to a frame mount or add a thumb rest if I wanted to, but without the vortex optic they ship with. People buying the 3-gun model right now will be paying almost $1000 less.
  18. I'm just getting into reloading. With 9mm, I like JHP, and I have options like Montana Gold, Precision Delta, RMR, Hornady HAP/XTP, etc. I stocked up on some Precision Delta 115s. I'm now looking around trying to decide on a good bullet for 55 grain .223 or 5.56 for a .223 Wylde barrel. What are the good options out there? Nosler ballistic tip? Hornady Vmax? Sierra GameKing/MatchKing? Anything else? I pretty much just want to find a good, accurate 55 grain bullet that I can buy in bulk for reloading.
  19. I tried. No dice... Apparently there is some deal for current Honcho owners too, but I don't know what it is/can't access it since I don't have the gun yet and can't login to their private forum.
