  1. Measure your x carry front sights and I’ll measure my X5 front sights when I get back home in a little bit. Keep in mind also that the X5 front fiber optic sight were made by Dawson Precision for Sig. not sure if they made the x carry front sight
  2. Yes that’s right. I confirmed it at the range that such would be the case if they battery goes dead. I use the same username in here, CZ, sig and 1911 forums. Haven’t been active at the 1911 forum since shooting 9mm for USPSA.
  3. I was the one who posted the second post. Here’s a pic showing the rear notch on the Romeo 1 cowitnessing with the front sight on my X5. Remember, this is for the p320 X5 not X Carry. The front sight is the stock fiber optic that came with the gun.

    Shadow 2

If you’re going to shoot with WWB factory ammo, you can use the 11.5# hammer spring. If I were you, I’d go with the CGW 13# hammer spring for reliability in lighting off factory ammo other than Winchester. Buy CGWs recoil spring tuning pack which consist of a variety of springs consisting of 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14#. In my shadow 2, I installed the following; 11.5# hammer spring, extended firing pin, reduced power firing pin spring, reduced powered trigger return spring, 10# recoil spring, LOK palm swell grips, old style 85C trigger, solid trigger pin and polished the internals. DA is at 5# 8.7 ozs, SA is 2# 3.5 ozs. I shoot my reloads consisting of 124 Gr FMJ with 4.1 Gr Winchester 231.
  5. Take a different and/or multiple guns to the range every time you go shooting. As for your wife selling your guns for what you told her the price was, who cares. You’re already dead at that time so she can’t do additional harm .
  6. They’re all the same. It’s a personal preference.
  7. TSL, what loads are you using? I’m currently using 124 Gr FMJ with 4.1 Gr Winchester 231 and felt recoil is very minimal. Gun shoots flat and I’m using a 10# CGW recoil spring.
  8. If the CZC mount(which looks like it) TSL used is the same mount I used for my TSO, then the hole pattern is the stock TSO/CM mounting holes pattern. The holes themselves use M4 screws.
  9. That’s a better thumb rest compared to the stock TSO thumb rest which I have currently mounted on my gun. The stock thumb rest pad is too small.
  10. Looks great! What thumb rest is mounted on your TS?

    New TS Orange

I got a TSO and I don’t feel a need to send it off for any modifications to make it better. The gun comes out of the box ready for competition. Since I reload, the only thing I replaced was the recoil spring. I removed the stock recoil spring and installed a 10#. However, I also took it apart to examine the inner working and different internal parts of the gun. Since I already had it apart, I went ahead and polished the trigger bar, sear pin, hammer strut and hammer. That’s all it. By the way, the trigger pull was an average of 5 pulls coming in at 1# 3.2 ozs out of the box using my Lyman gauge. just buy more ammo and go shoot and have fun with it.
  12. I just installed a shadow 2 extended safety on my TSO yesterday and it was a drop in process. No modification was needed at all and it was cheaper too. I also installed a CZC red dot mount with a Romeo 1.
  13. The RRK-3 kit is specifically designed for the shadow 2. It’s drop in from the info I got on the phone last month.
  14. Check out the offerings from armory craft. He’s got a lot of other factory options.
  15. That looks really nice.
  16. 7.5. I always clean after reloading. My reloading room is also my music room where I keep my guitars and amps. I also have my stereo and turntable so I can play my vinyl records while reloading or doing any gun maintenance.
  17. These are the scale USPSA targets I bought from Ben Stoeger Shop that I’m using for my dry fire training along with his books. I’m using a pocket Pro 2 for a timer. My wife supports all my hobbies since I retired from the Navy so I’m very happy and content with life right now.
  18. I had a great experience with Quantico Tactical when I bought my X5 last year. It helped a lot being retired military because it enabled me to get the special pricing. Shipping was very quick too.
  19. Comp-tac with BOSS hanger.
  20. I have both X5 and Shadow 2. I like using my Shadow 2 since the trigger is way better than the X5. My Shadow’s DA pull is 5# 8.6 ozs, SA is 2# 10.2 ozs and buttery smooth after I polished the internals. I use my shadow 2 mainly for USPSA Production but shoot it in 2 and 3 gun more than I use my X5.
  21. WSP and CCi 500 for me.
  22. Here’s my production setup. DA premium belt, ghost pouches, comp-tac holster for aCZ Shadow 2 and red BOSS hanger. I made the black hangers for my other guns.
  23. Yes, they are stainless. They came with the holster as an option when I bought it from Ben Stoegers website. They’re $5 each. Since then, I bought the brass ones from Home Depot for $1.36 for a pack of three. They’re 8-32 x 5/8”.
