  1. Wish I knew you could do this earlier. Nice feature.
  2. It can also take the range a while to upload the scores. I've had a club wait a month or so before they finally uploaded them.
  3. I would def give Dawson a call. Their customer service is great and that part is really worth figuring out as the part is excellent.
  4. I'm a big fan of the nitro fin. Its more of a rest some of the others. Makes it less likely that you will "drive" the gun.
  5. If your having problems with the tek lok get some heavy duty adhesive velcro and put it on the back of the tek lok clip. Works great if you have a bunch of them next to each other. Like a bunch of mag pouches.
  6. Red Hill double layer. Really really nice product.

    P320 X5 Thread

So who do I call if I want one? Do I call sig directly or look for a distributer? Don't want to wait forever if I can avoid it.

    Gray vs. Burke?

I'm gonna have to bring this one back. I would HIGHLY recommend grayguns. I had some issues with their PELT trigger that were totally 100 percent tolerance issues with the actual gun. When I contacted them they were more than helpful. I made it clear that I didn't believe that it was their parts that were the problem and it wasn't. They said they don't care. Send it in and they will make it right. So I did. I decided to have them do their competition trigger job while it was out. Because I was having problems they put it to the top of their list, and that they did. They received it yesterday and are putting it back in the mail today and they are covering the return shipping minus the overnight charge because I am impatient lol. The customer service they have provided is unrivaled. I had the gunsmiths cell number that worked on my gun. I have a business and I struggle to provide that kind of prompt top notch service. They always answered my emails and even my text messages. I haven't received the gun back yet but I do not doubt it will live up to their reputation. Can't recommend them enough.
  9. Double alpha alpha x. I had the CR speed wsm2 and switched to that. It was like night and day.
  10. I get all the divisions, it makes the sport more accessible but it definitely waters them all down at the same time.
  11. Believe it or not I envy you guys. Now its getting to be a big arms race even in the divisions it shouldn't be. I love to see guys and listen to their stories that have been around that long. You can gleam a lot of info from that wisdom.
  12. Its a fixed time stage. 9.4.5.1 Extra shots (i.e. shots fired in excess of the number specified in a component string or stage), will each incur one procedural penalty. Additionally, during scoring, no more than the specified number and highest scoring hits will be awarded.
  13. I have to say ruger too. I have a mark 3 lite and I love it. If you shoot a 1911 or 2011 regularly it matches the grip angle which is a huge plus.
  14. So heres my 2 cents. I prefer federals just like the rest of the world then the second choice becomes a bit hazy. I like the winchesters for the sensitivity, which at the end of the day has never even been an issue for me its just an observation. However if you are using or plan to use any kind of automatic primer filler the winchester primers just suck. I don't know why but they are awful. I have a vibra prime and a RF 100 and they suck in both of them. I haven't had any issues with the cci. If your running a 1911 or 2011 the sensitivity really isn't as big a deal as some other guns. If you cant get federals I would go cci unless your running a tuned glock or something of that nature. If you are running a automatic primer filler and buy winchesters just sell it and buy more winchesters.
  15. Pocket pro 2 in my opinion also. I love the display options and it has worked great for me.
  16. I like the regular CED pistol sleeves and the CED pistol cases are even nicer as they hold mags too. The case probably has a little more room in it for an open gun.
  17. I run a 14lb in mine. Seems to work perfect for me.
  18. Different colors of nail polish might work good and wouldn't be as messy thats for sure.
  19. The double alpha backpack is a good option if you have to go the backpack style. I much prefer the the over the shoulder style like the shooters connection bag.
  20. This probably will not help you with slide lock issues. The Dawson mag tuning kit is designed to help with the inherent feeding issues that 2011 mags are susceptible to. I don't want to discourage you from purchasing this kit as it is a good thing to have in your tool box but it probably will not help with lock back. There is most likely something else going on such as followers or slide stop. I have never heard of the feed lips being tuned to prevent slide lock back. If your mags run perfect other than slide lock I would highly recommend not messing with the feed lips.
  21. I wouldn't mess with the feed lips to try to prevent over insertion. Thats a really bad idea. 2011 mags can be very sensitive to the tolerances there. You do that and you are very liable to start having feeding issues. Not a good solution to fix slide lock back.
  22. I stand corrected. Didn't know they made a mod like that. After that the only advantage to the alpha x is the initial settings. It is much easier to get set the way you want.
  23. Anybody else? Can't believe Florida is that dry as far as matches go.
