  1. I'm thinking the slide not going into battery and the bursts are separate issues. I would change your recoil spring and see if that solves the not going into battery problem. After that I would check the engagement of the trigger bar crucifix and the firing pin. Glock makes a special slide plate that allows you to see that engagement. If the crucifix doesn't engage the firing pin enough the firing pin could slip off and cause another round to go bang. A new trigger bar isn't very expensive and sounds like good insurance to avoid full auto by accident.

For a match holster I would highly recommend red hill tactical. I got the double layer holster for my RX and it's been awesome. As far as a duty or carry holster I can't help you there.
  3. Which after market connector is it. Some of them aren't drop in. They require some adjusting.
  4. Glock factory 3.5lb connector or after market?
  5. I feel like I'm missing something. The only 90 degree cmore mount for the mark III 22/45 that I can find is from Striplin custom. Did alchin and taccom stop making them. Are there any other options?
  6. That looks like a recoil spring. That is actually glocks test for the recoil spring. Hold the trigger down and rack the slide easing it forward. That doesnt explain the burst mode though. Is it always only 2 rounds or does it sometime go more than that?
  7. Great thanks Alma ill give it a try today.
  8. So mine doesn't strike me like reset is the problem. It just doesn't seem to want to drop the striker. I can rack the gun and pull the trigger multiple times and maybe the 5th time the striker will fall. If I hold the slide forward with some force the striker will drop every time. Thoughts? Not reset right?
  9. A cop out it is not. There is a ton of people and many on this forum that just couldn't make them run. Load data and volume is committed to a brand of primers. I just don't feel like a piece of equipment that costs that much should be this hard to get to run right. Lets be realistic there is really only 3 brands of primers that the vast majority of us use. If it can't run 33 percent of them thats not good. If you would like to buy my supply of primers I would be happy to start over with another brand. That said I will try another brand and see if it solves the problem if not its on the chopping block. The amount of time I have in trying to get it to run I could have stuck with primer tubes and been better off.
  10. I use the .100 dawson also. It has worked very well for me. Your right about the acquisition but the precision will be greatly lacking and that is exaggerated the longer the shot is.
  11. I'm having trouble with primers flipping half way and getting stuck sideways. As the other primers pile against it it gets stuck and doesn't drop one way or the other. These kinds of things need to run 100% and I just cant get this to do it. I've spent hours trying to tune every possible thing on the machine. Its even on mouse pads. Its getting close to being sold. I could deal with one flipped every now and then but can't do with them getting stuck. Anybody have any ideas before i put this thing up for sale?
  12. Theres a guy in the classifieds looking to buy a loadmaster in 9mm hahahaha.

There is no on/off switch on the Romeo 1. It automatically shuts off when the gun is not being handled and comes back on when it is.
  15. I think I can shed some light on that. The idea is that the heavier the spring the more recoil you will feel. Reason being the spring is heavier and it takes more force for the gun to unlock. I personally feel that is a double edged sword as the heavier spring will dampen recoil from the slide bottoming out but will require more force for the gun to unlock. I personally run a very lightened slide with a 14lb recoil spring. It just feels better to me. I too had a similar issue with the sights not returning. When my gun was shipped to me it had a 10lb recoil spring. I found my second shot was just over the top when I was trying to blaze through a plate rack. I told my builder this when I was having my backup gun built and he had never really heard of that problem. He went to the range and his consensus was that he could really see how spring weight along with slide weight could affect how the sights return. All that said I do think a 18lb spring in an edge is a tad heavy but at the end of the day it's whatever feels right to you. Not sure if any of that answered your question but you seem to be the only other person I have talked to that experienced that same deal. I have been shooting quite a while and don't feel that my grip is an issue. I say shoot with what works and don't let someone tell you a spring is too heavy. If you have to look to get your sights back on target your definitely not saving time or helping your shooting in any way.
  16. If you get the Edge in hard chrome its not as easy to cut the slide. The hard chrome is so hard that some guys will charge more to cut the slide because its brutal on their tooling. Also (correct me if I'm wrong) you can't touch up hard chrome like you can bluing or some other finishes.
  17. If you really need or want the magnet, is it possible to get good after market mags that are magnetic?
  18. Yea I have a 320 holster from red hill and I'm more than happy with it. Excellent product.
  19. Gonna have to second that. No tuning or tweaking required. Buy once cry once.
  20. I'm not on the job but I have shot a lot. My glocks have literally run 100 percent with factory ammo and my 2011's are nearly 100 percent with handloads and much less with factory loads. I don't have a job where my life depends on a firearm but I can't imagine carrying something that wont go bang all the time. Nearly 100 percent wouldn't cut it. Mag tuning and such shouldn't be an issue with a duty gun if you ask me. I shoot 2011's for competition but a glock is in my night stand and on my belt. Again I'm not on the job but have more than a few rounds down range with 2011's and plastic guns.
  21. So basically unless your 44 years old now and had a high capacity competition rig when you were 21 you probably don't have legal equipment to shoot the match. I bet thats a very small majority of people shooting this match. I could be very wrong but I'd be surprised. By the way when was the 2011 introduced to the market?
  22. Race guns go in the safe for a few reasons. I find that keeping things bagged up where they cant breath isn't usually good for them. I also think they are more protected from getting banged up in the safe. I'm never going to use them for self defense so if I'm not shooting, transporting or working on them they go in the safe.
  23. Besides a case feeder I have to say the primer upgrades are a must. There is a spent and fresh primer upgrade that is amazing. I'm a little amazed dillon hasn't done something similar. Only reason I can come up with is someone has fixed it and they don't want or need to take their business. Search ebay and it wont be far.
  24. Not only is it a 5 inch barrel its a bull barrel. Its just so heavy and big its not practical. I wish it was but its not. If you ask me I'd say stick with the 19 110% for carry, and that might be an understatement.
