  1. Hail to the chief he's the chief and he needs hailing, he is the chief so everybody hail like crazy!!!
  2. My Girlfriends family recently bought a house in Boynton Beach FL. I'm sure we will be using it now and then and I would love to find a match near by. Is there anything close. The closet I can find on the USPSA website is Miami. Is there anything closer? Does anyone know how the Miami clubs matches are? Thanks for the help.
  3. I started with the CR speed versa pouches and I really did like them. No complaints. Then I set up a carry optics rig and decided to use the versas for that and upgrade my limited pouches as thats my primary division. I decided on the race master pouches and wow. They really are awesome. The adjustability and retention system is just great. These really are the cadillac of pouches as far as I'm concerned. If cost is an issue you can save a lot of money with the versas and I can say you wont regret it either they are a quality product also. Its just the little details that stand out with the race masters.
  4. I pick up anything that isn't weathered and I don't sort it. That said I have had one case failure that caused the gun to mimic a squib and he RO stopped me. I actually got the reshoot because it wasn't. Yes I do feel guilty about it but it was to my advantage. Anyway I'm going to be more careful for major matches and use once fired. Other than that if it doesn't split it gets loaded.
  5. I thought about Zero too. I should add that to the list also.
  6. I'm currently using 180 xtreme fp bullets. Problem is I'm seeing OAL variation and the more I mess around and try to fix it it looks like the bullet being inconsistent. They run in the gun fine but the OAL variation is affecting my chronograph results and I don't like that for major matches. I want to start using a higher quality bullet. At least for matches. Looking at precision delta or montana golds. I've been using tite group and I'm happy with it and have a bit of a supply so I'll be sticking with it for now. So what does everyone think, PD or MG for .40 180 grain. Thanks for the help.
  7. http://redhilltactical.com/ Serious quality, you wont be sorry.
  8. Yup thats the magic combo. Eliminates almost all of the common issues loading .40.
  9. It seems few and far between but I had a terrible experience with Wilson customer service too. To the point that I will never buy their products again. Go with the KKM you won't regret it.
  10. Here's the classification break down. https://steelchallenge.com/classificationSystem.php As far as the membership issue... I had a similar issue when trying to join myself. If I remember correctly your uspsa number is now your SC number since they merged. I didn't have to specifically join SC.
  11. Have 2 kkm barrels in .40 on my atlas guns. I've been very happy with them. Very accurate.
  12. I have found titegroup to be a very good all around powder. It does require some discipline as its dense. That said I have found it all around satisfying in 9, 40 and 45.

    P320 RX

Got one a few weeks ago. So far I'm very happy and I'm sure you will be too. My only issue is as smooth as the trigger is I think its a little heavy. I haven't put a gauge to it yet but I think its heavier than it feels. I bought a rig and I'm going to toy around in carry optics this season. I'm a glock guy for carry guns through and through but I fell like a season of USPSA should give me some confidence in the 320 rx. You think you'll be sending yours out for an action job? I'm toying with sending mine to Burke.
  14. Saddleback leather. Old bull belt. Quality is off the charts.
  15. Not as long as you would think. Biggest thing for me was getting used to the safety. As far as getting used to the grip angle change that didn't take long for me. That said I switched at the end of the season. My timing wasn't intentional but it worked out well. As easy as I found it I wouldn't want to do it right before a major match.
  16. Wow... just wow. Im surprised nobody got hurt.
  17. The biggest difference between the two is the backstraps on the gen 4. Some people have small hands and that can make a big difference being able to change them. Reliability wise I wouldn't trust one over the other. If grip size isn't an issue I personally would save the money and get the gen 3. As far as the minor inexpensive things goes I don't like to do much to carry guns. I usually add some grip tape because I find the glocks to not be grippy enough for me. Other than that maybe a glock factory minus connector to drop the trigger pull a little. Other than that I would leave it alone.
  18. My case feeder was so finicky on my Lnl that I honestly felt I could load as fast without it. Maybe even faster as 98 percent or so of the malfunctions on the press were a result of it. It was so bad I gave up on the Lnl and got a 650 with the case feeder. Wish I did it a long time ago. I was loading 9 40 and 45. 45 was pretty smooth but 9 was awful and 40 wasn't great.
  19. This just keeps getting better and better. Theres gonna be an awful lot of felons at that club that weekend.
  20. I'm confused as to why everyone is against moving the sights. If a gun shoots consistently left wouldn't moving the sights just be zeroing the gun. I don't know about you but I don't trust some guy in the factory to properly zero any of my guns. My grip is good thats a non issue for me.
  21. Its going to be tough to find a slide stop mounted thumb rest thats much farther forward as it uses a designated mounted location. The go gun rest is nice if your willing to drill.
  22. Its funny how many people I know that feel the same way. I'm surprised that most everyone here is so confident traveling and shooting in MA with their laws. Having an ever harder time understanding why USPSA would put its members in jeopardy like that.
  23. Glock's always shoot left for me. My grip is good and so is everything else. It's only an issue with Glock's for me. I just adjust the sights accordingly.
