  1. I'm told to make the Max upper shoot as soft as I've felt it needs Iron city Mohawk 3.0 or something similar as idk this market... RB5020SS buffer system A5 buffer tube 308 carbine spring When I shot my buddy's setup like that, it was as soft as my MPX
  2. I was specifically talking about the MPX. I should have specified that though. Thanks!
  3. Buy whatever the best PCC shooter is using. MaxL/brekke stuff is nice and light. idk what BCG or buffer he uses.
  4. I used to get burns on my right forearm from spent casing bouncing off when ejecting. That's one of the reasons why I always wear the arm sleeves. Not sure if that would have prevented your arm from getting blasted by the broken extractor tho
  5. What I do know is, gear will NOT get you to GM. If you have a quality/reliable blaster, the latest and greatest new release wont get you to the next level.
  6. I dont blame you. Sweet setup for sure! Which one do you prefer to shoot? What BCG and buffer system are you using? Also, be careful with the hiperfire shoe on the trigger. It's technically outside the rules to have the shoe on. Reason being is the trigger shoe is wider than the trigger guard. I never installed the shoe because of that.
  7. I was soooo sooo close to doing a Max PCC build as a backup gun after shooting a friends. It didnt make sense to have a MPX and glock mag PCC as a backup... so I bought a second MPX. I will say if I had to do it all over again, I probably wouldn't get a MPX. I also have a 8" SBR colt mag PCC that collects dust.
  8. you can't post this and not have a close up of those details. Mostly of the Venom faces. Your blaster is interesting. Mine isnt
  9. Sig MPX Competition Aftermarket parts: - Raptor charging handle - Odin works extended magazine buttons - Bottom Feeder magwell - Hiperfire Eclipse trigger - Leupold DPP 2.5moa - Magpul K2 grip - buffer tube conversion w/ Hogue Overmold stock - CT CMR-206 I think.. I never use it. Internals are 100% stock... except for the trigger
  10. I would not recommend painted bullets for a MPX
  11. Also a southie... I’m sure it’s not as dirty of a gun to clean as a MPX. I guess I don’t understand why lefty vs righty gun would make a difference on carbon build up. I mean I’m sure the gun isn’t like “yeah you dumb lefty, let’s leave more crap in your gun!!” I have 0 useful input to add to the convo But personally I’m not a fan of “lefty” guns cuz if s#!t breaks nobody has replacement parts.
  12. I agree completely. But if the start position is at the left side of the bay, I’m not gonna run to the other side to do it in reverse. I’ll just have to incorporate muzzle direction while doing my walk thru and execute it accordingly.
  13. The charging handle and safety arent a big deal. Those can be easily changed. The magazine catch button being on the right side (ejection port site) is the wrong site. This really only matters on classifiers basically. But it was enough of a point where I would not buy it.
  14. If there's no advantage of running it like a right, I'd shoot a stage right to left. If there is an advantage, I'll shoot left to right.
  15. The way I see it is, my gun is a gas gun. Give it gas. I shoot 115s around 1220fps which has shown to run the gun well. I’ve never had to reshoot as the timers always can hear me. My brass gets tossed about 15’ if it doesn’t hit my right arm (lefty problems) whereas 147 people have brass barely dribbling out of the ejection port. if it ain’t broke, don’t don’t fix it. Gun runs. So just keep running it the way I am.
  16. Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed! I chrono’ed at 141 that day
  17. Not sure on all details. I know it’s not a JP. I know he’s some part of the setup the in attached link below https://brekkecustom.com/index.php/product/4-compxtension-barrel/
  18. If your setup works, I wouldn't even consider switching. I have Gen 3s and they're very good. But! I'd prefer to have less maintenance/parts to clean like on an AR blowback platform. Doing gun surgery on the MPX is annoying.
  19. Figured I'd post up the 3rd person footage... Enjoy!
  20. I agree with above about buy once, cry once. I'm not saying they're junk by any means, but there's other options other than a JP... I specifically don't use a JP because they aren't lefty friendly. Max doesn't use one either. p51, welcome to Enos Forums!
  21. Thanks! Much appreciated! This was a really really fun match!
  22. Trust me, I WISH I wasn’t wrong handed!
  23. So I knew this would be asked and should have addressed it already. On my first stage brief, the start position of pcc was gun loaded safety on pointing down range. I asked Manny Bragg, “stock on belt?” And his reply was something along the lines of “there’s nothing in the stage brief stating that. It only says pointing down range”. So essentially everyone shooting pcc was aiming at their first target. I do not agree with the start position, but knew everyone else was doing the same thing. If you look at the extreme GM fb page, you can see 3rd person video of another shooter doing the same with pcc.
  24. This is my form of social media as I don’t have fb/ig... Enjoy!
