  1. I did a complete tear down of my primary MPX. I think I had maybe 600rds thru it as I haven't been shooting much lately due to winter when shooting essentially comes to a hard stop. I'm heading to Florida tomorrow for the sectional match. The gas system even from that amount of rounds still takes a vice to turn the gas plug and a brass hammer to smash the piston out. Overall, cleaning it was quite simple again with such low round count. It's just time consuming. I again only lube the metal on metal rubby parts. I don't run mine what some would call wet anymore. Especially being a lefty, running it wet would spray oil on my face for the first 50-60 rounds or so. I make sure to clean behind the extractor during this tear down. ^ I agree with this. The last match I shot, which it was 38 degrees outside, a fellow MPXer was using 147gr mouse fart ammo at like 128pf... yeah his gun didnt run.. and when it did, the brass was dribbling out of the ejection port. My brass gets sent like 20'. He also had to do 2 reshoots as the RO didnt get his last shots. All of which is another reason I run 115s at 140pf
  2. I also did not notice any difference between .355 and .356 with my MPXs
  3. at this point, anything I can get. I have xtreme and everglades plated 115s. I have a bunch of 115 and 124 FMJ and JHPs too for when the plated runs out. Again at this point, if you can only get coated bullets than it is what it is... you'll just have a tough time scraping the piston and build up on the comp. I run my ammo on the faster side, 138-141pf which is around 1215fps.
  4. Dan, If I were using a blowback, I’d have no issues with TG. I’m using HP-38 currently. Once I’m out of that I’ll use Alliant sport pistol as I’ve heard those are the 2 common powders used for the MPX. I’m basically trying to keep the gun as clean as possible. TG leaves a very hard carbon buildup on the piston. All powders do, but TG is harder to clean IMO I’d use N320 but since I’m a southpaw it kinda gasses me in the face and N320 doesn’t smell good haha.
  5. That won’t clean out the gas system. I’m not concerned about the internals of the barrel. Who cleans their barrels now a days?! on another note of things to check, clean the extractor real well from the bolt and maybe replace the extractor spring stuff every season depending on round count. Cheap maintenance tho. Maybe new recoil springs once a year also pending round count.
  6. Clean the entire gas system/gun every 1k rounds. Mostly gas system. Don’t over oil the moving parts. don’t use coated bullets. don’t use titegroup
  7. I believe they’re the same trigger, but the eclipse is nickel coated.
  8. It’s got some scuffs. Clearly throwing a mag isn’t something I’ve practiced or done. Figured F it and give it a try and worse case I look like I have a wet noodle arm.
  9. I wish you didn’t edit your original post as I agree
  10. Why do you want/need LRBHO? My Sig MPX does LRBHO...
  11. Nobody else posts videos of majors here. So I will... Enjoy!
  12. I’ve had many triggers in my MPX. My Hiperfire eclipse has been the best trigger by far. Both of my triggers have the old style disco in them too. So far no issues. Prob 6k thru it. Altho I honestly have no idea on round count
  13. the MPX seems to be treating me well... I 100% associate the MPX for my A7 and A8 PCC win. Altho I also blame my MPX for shooting Mikes and NS at A2 causing me to not win PCC..
  14. I have TG, N320, HP38, Sport Pistol, Clean Shot, W231, and probably other powders that I forget. If I load them all to the same PF, I don't notice enough of a difference to make it worth going nuts over what powder you're using. Some are cleaner than others. That's just my opinion.. But if you think a specific powder is gonna allow you put holes in the center of a target, by all means use that powder.
  15. KAK and TTI buffer tube conversions... Hogue overmold stock. no idea what buffer tubes... good enough.. I used to run MFT stocks but the adjustment pin kept falling out of one. I broke another one from a jam of death... I mortared the gun which sheered the adjustment pin.

It's all good brother! This is just internet message forums... I don't let this ruin my day But now that I read some specific peoples history of posts, I think by saying the A01 is a CZ offended a CZ fanboy... I hope they're a GM...

I'm being facetious... I asked what I thought was a legit question about why the A01 wasn't on the list and seemed to get scorned for asking it...

I'm surprised there's no mention of the A01..
  22. Do a pic rail to buffer tube conversion and get whatever AR stock you like most. I have a TTI and KAK one. Both seem fine..
  23. Still no word on getting in A2.. I look forward to next season and doing some PCC matches. I hope you're enjoying the weather out there, Dan! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous
  24. A top shooter in open once told me "Don't shoot an open gun made by any company that begins with the letter A..." they didn't elaborate further than that
