The RL IMO is fantastic. It is not as easy to change calibers as the other you mentioned. For a thousand rounds a month a little SDB would be perfect IF you are just loading one caliber.... If you don't buy the 1050 there are those on this Forum who would LOVE to have it. Me # 1 among them.... No, don't tell Merlin. He is hoarding all of the RL1050's.

620 is the one to use. It is thick enough to bridge gaps and fill in all the way around. If you want to remove the comp afterwards, I hope you have a torch.

There are also several really good bullseye shooters in that area. Zero Bullets is close. Magnus Bullets is close. If you want to shoot, you can shoot.

The lead in a used car battery has some other elements in it that prevent it from working well in Ballisticast or Magma Casters. I have a friend who is a commercial lead bullet maker. He has run into this before and it makes maintaining the temp in the lead pots difficult ant the pour spouts clog up. It is not a fun experience.

Just in case yo didn't get an answer I'll chime in. The light rail only works with the Surefire lights. The plastic body of the M3 doesn't allow the adapter to be attached. The Surefire lights have removable adapters so the light rail can attach. So in short, The pistol gets the rail and the light gets the adapter put on it. Some hlster will work with the rail attached some won't. That question Dave is going to have to respond to.

People were putting the +2 base pads on STI 140 tubes and when the followers got jammed below the ribs in the mags they would blame Dave for the failure. So Dave discontinued the +2 base pads.

If you remember to turn it off, it will last a fairly long time. It depends on how much you shoot. I have gone a couple of months on one, when I remember to turn it off.

I collected 1000.00 from the five clubs in and around San Antonio, but when I called various folks ( Dillon, Starline, Magnus Bullets, Zero, Shooters Connection, and of course Dawson Precision ) no body would take list price if they took money at all. The most extreme example were Dawson and STI. They split the total cost of the gun between them. Starline sent brass, a hat, a CD, and two shirts. They also sent a huge thank you card with every one at Starlines signature on it. So, it wouldn't have been possible without the wonderful people we buy our stuff from, all I really did was make a bunch of phone calls.

I've used the Sanyo CR1/3N batteries and they work well. I also like the Energizer 2L76 batteries. Of course none of them last when you forget to turn the C-more off and leave it on in the range bag till the next match!

The part I don't like about the Hybrids or the Tesla is the 100,000 mile life span on the batteries. I've got 363,000 miles on my pick-up and the diesel is still going strong.

Hey now, there's nuthin wrong with HHR's. I put just under 4000 miles in the rental. It made my back and neck hurt. It also had large blind spots for me. I did not like it at all.

I had a primer go off and set off a just loaded primer magazine. A primer in a 9mm case left the side wall while punching out the end and the anvil. It was load, but I was wearing eyes and ears. Was in a Super 1050 that was very new. I prefer my RL 1050 to the Super version.

No one even injured. I hit the right rear corner of the car and pushed the bumper into the tire. Brakes were working well, but I needed retro rockets to stop fully.

I have both 9mm and 38 SC. I use sv 170's for both. Also have a couple of shorter tubes that run both.

Had a driver pull out in front of me at 9:30pm on Feb 23. They got the ticket and a dead car. '97 Dodge Avenger vs 99 Ford F-350 crew cab long bed. At first glance not much wrong with my truck, just all the power steering fluid leaking out of the front. Oh yea and a cut break line, and two other oil coolers, and all the plastic parts are cracked ( head lights, turn lights, chrome grill, etc ) and the bumper is bent. But finally after putting just under 4000 miles on the rental from heck, ( wasn't quite bad enough to be from that other place ) ( a Chevy HHR ), I picked my truck up today, Friday, at 4:00. Life is good again. Also the other persons insurance company picked up the whole thing, after all it was their fault. You don't pull out in front of trucks going 65 mph ( the speed limit, a DPS car likes to park just past the accident site and run radar ) and expect them to stop on a dime.

Just to be correct, The mags and CR Speed rig did not come from Chuck. Those came from someone wanting to remain anonymous. Chuck did leap at the chance to send the bag though. Thanks Chuck!
