  1. Yes. They will tell you. Make sure you ask if they are sure what place you are. There are a few people here that have heard one thing only to hear another a few weeks later. Like me. I was told I was first in line for a Open 9mm. ( Was told this twice ) Only to call back and hear I was now 8th. In order tofind out where you are in the list, the person on the phone has to check Quick Books, not the order board. Houston - Can you tell everyone if we receive free shipping. Since all STI's are being sent now with free shipping on your website? Yes.

  3. Hello, The 017-012 blade is even with the rear of the slide. When we make the sight, the detents on the adjustment screws were make deeper to prevent movement under recoil. The standard notch width is 0.125 wide.
  4. Hello, The 013-009 is the IDPA legal length mag catch, the 013-014 is the drilled & tapped IDPA legal length mag catch. I have a couple of old SVI mags I use without problems.
  5. We are still looking at the IDPA Ice Magwell for the 2011. We are currently swamped with new projects.
  6. We are not sure how many it will add yet. As soon as we get it designed, we will let you know.
  7. Good suggestion. We'll look into this. -Chet I'll take two when you have them... Any update on para availability? I will have one as well if you decide to build them. We are swamped with work. We are still thinking about the Para mag release.
  8. Order a Para base pad 005-003 or 005-004, a modified Para base pad insert 501-007, and a 170mm STI mag spring 519-1072.
  9. If you are refering to what Dave used to call the "Just right" basepad assembly, It was a Para Ord basepad, An Arredondo basepad insert ( PN:501007) and a 170mm mag spring. With a Preban tube 24 round work all day long, a current 140mm tube may get 25.
  10. Not all green loctite is the same. Which one did you use? http://www.henkelna.com/cps/rde/xchg/henke...D%3D0000000389| I think 620 would be good, 640 may be stronger, but it looks like it has a long cure time. Both are resistant to lubricants and solvents. Of course removal without a torch is about impossible.
  11. The STI tube is the pre-ban style. They were originally shorter than the current 140mm tubes. The SV tube may be a carry mag type tube, not sure.
  12. I've set two up so far. The clutch only needed minor adjustment. That press is an RL1050 in 40. Set up second one yesterday, RL1050 in super. The clutch has not needed any adjustment yet, but I have not actually put components in it yet. Only one RL1050 and a Super 1050 left. Only thing really slowing me down is the bench needs modification to be able to mount everything. See the reloading bench at Dawson Precision in the loading bench thread to see what I mean. Oh also added a switch and a micro switch to make them run automatically, but shut down when the primers run out. Pictures to follow when everything gets cleaned up and looks good. Set-up on third machine was a snap. RL 1050 in 9mm.
  13. I have a Kart 22lr conversion and have the Tactical Solutions mags for it. Dawson was playing with one of the STI/Marvel conversion with the mag that comes with it. I like the Tactical Solutions mags better. They are machined out of Al. The STI mags are molded plastic and very light. With the TacSol mags it feels more like my open gun. Dawson liked the STI top end, but I won't be trading mine anytime soon.
