  1. Yeah that was the goal to have more bb's to possibly hit the clays. I need to pattern the 7.5 vs 9
  2. Echo what Pat said, Tom at MOA has them figured out and he's putting out a turn key budget race gun. I only say budget because of the price, I don't believe you're giving up anything with the Stoeger.
  3. Some RO's will try to catch it for you, i dont try to catch as a shooter OR an RO
  4. Good one. Everyone knows that re-shoots usually do not go well for a shooter. Ive never seen a reshoot go better than the initial run either, why is that i wonder. You'd think it wouldnt be that way Of course is an individual issue, but I would say that most people 1) let their level of attention and focus DOWN for the reshoot - hard to stay up the whole first time, let alone again and 2) Familiarity breeds a false sense of confidence. - people think they can go faster on the reshoot because they just had a practice run on it. If a shooter is really in control of his mental game, the reshoot should be better or at least as good as the initial run. But how many shooters are in control of their mental game? A perfect example of how a reshoot often DOES go better for a smart, in-control shooter, is if they had a penalty or miss or brain fart on the first run, and get a second chance due to a reshoot. They can tell themselves this is a second chance, and SLOW DOWN and not make any mistakes this time and it will be a much higher score. And they have the discipline to execute on this decision. I have done that several times myself, and seen it MANY times with other shooters. What really sucks is when a good shooter has a near "perfect" run, and somebody tapes a target prematurely. That can really upset a shooter and make a successful reshoot much more difficult. Admittedly I've been the culprit of taping too early and felt terrible until the shooter ran the identical run and he was really cool about it the entire time
  5. For me anyway the 25 cent trigger job is a waste of time. Zev is a good drop in trigger

  7. I used WST prior to 320 and switched to 320 because everybody talked about how great it was. Honestly i dont feel THAT much of a difference, if at all for my 40 loads
  8. Should be fine, not sure how the humidity would affect them being in an uncontrolled climate though
  9. This is a decent load, even better with VV320
  10. I'm going to ask what may seem like a very rude question... How good a shot are you? Can you shoot a USPSA match at a B level using something like Atlanta Arms ammunition? If you can't then you can probably spend all the time and money you want on a search for the most accurate ammo and still not improve your scores significantly. True, USPSA isnt exactly an accuracy game to that extent anyway
  11. Looks good, Id like to do the same
  12. Yeah, its just a tradeoff for having fun driving to and from the range. Plan accordingly (to never be far from your vehicle if you have to stop) and all will be fine. My best days at the range included driving my 77 Bronco
  13. I shot this match last year for the first time and it was great! Technical but very fun stages, outstanding range layout with minimal walking, lots of shade and the themes for the stages were unlike anything ive ever seen. Very proud to work the match this year, hopefully i can shoot a clean match too
  14. Sounds about right really. Now if everyone involved is helping with setup, reset and teardown theres not much else you can ask for besides trying to find that perfect number of shooters per squad to be efficient
  15. I have wondered the same, but it seems that there are more major matches in various disciplines than there are weekends in the year and there will be conflicts. It sucks but often i have to make a choice on which to attend and then have nothing else to shoot for a few weeks
