Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Nope, I'm eventually going to send it in to cz, but I've got too much going on right now. Please post back if you figure it out Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. I tried measuring the magazines and frankly i'm not sure what all the critical dimensions are and where to measure. So, the magazine is getting stuck on the ejector. the 9mm magazine is getting over inserted and the cut out on the rear of the mag is going past and around the ejector and getting wedged against the ejector, this then completely locks the action and i have to beat the magazine out with a dowel. This does not happen with the .40 magazines no matter how hard i slam them in. I can't even insert the 9mm magazines with anything more than a feather touch or else this happens. I can tell that that rear cut out area is different on the 40 magazine and has some extra material on the left where the ejector is and the magazine can't get past the ejector, it just gets stopped by the ejector. I tried measuring the magazines and frankly i'm not sure what all the critical dimensions are and where to measure.
  3. I called cz, they are the right mag's. They are insisting it's a problem with my gun or ammo, despite the fact I have 7 .40 mag's that work flawlessly and have tried multiple types of ammo. I'm going to take some pictures and measurements and call them back tomorrow as I'm not buying that answer. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Why is it an issue for the 9mm mags and not the .40 mags? Also the pistol has less than 1000 rounds through it.
  5. I ordered these https://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/11105_Mag-Tac-Sportipsc-9mm-10r the mag bodies say "tactical sports 9x19" on the bottom.
  6. I have a CZ Tactical Sport in.40, and i purchased a new 9mm barrel and five - "10 round" 9mm mags from cz direct and i'm having nothing but problems with the mags. With the slide in slide lock if i "drive the mags home" they get jammed, as best i can tell on the extractor. The slide release and the mag release become inoperable, neither will actuate. I have to either use a dowel and smack the feed lips or take the grips off, get a really firm grip on the mag and tug it down, it moves down a fraction of an inch and then i can use the mag release. If i gently insert the mag, i don't have this issue, and i can shoot 9mm out of it, but then i also have another mag issue. On some of the mags, the rounds get jammed in the magazine, like it's just a hair too wide and the rounds get jammed next to each other. Is it possible that all 5 mags are out of spec? Or is it more likely that my gun is slightly out of spec? Or that the 10 round mags are not compatible with the .40 frame? (though others report this conversion working just fine) I have 7 "10 round" .40 cal magazines and don't have these issues with those.
  7. I watched the youtube video and the guy says to file a different part of the barrel than the picture on the first page. Now I only notice this after I started filing my barrel based on the video and deciding to come and check here to see if i was doing it right because something didn't seem right. So which part do you file? if looking at the breach of the barrel there is the pad at 12 o'clock which the picture says to file. And the entire 9 o'clock surface and the small triangle at 2 o'clock which the video says to file
  8. Looking to get my first glock, a 34, and I'd like to eventually put an RMR on it. For now just some new iron sites, something fiber optic. maybe the dawson mos sites or the new vogels. So Should I get the MOS model? Or get the slide milled out once i'm ready for an optic?
  9. I've got 3 super 1050s and i want to start adding bullet feeders to them. I load for 9, 45, 40, 223, 300blk, 308. I like the idea of being able to keep a powder check die with the gsi, but i like using micrometer seating dies for some loads since i have a few different combinations i use and you can't do that with the gsi. I like the price of the mr bullet feeder better, but i'd rather invest in what i'll be happiest with in the end which how i ended up with 3 1050s... So which would you go with?
  10. thanks guys. Turns out it had 7 mags, i ended up getting it for 1100.
  11. has anyone tried 9mm in the .40 magazine? I've heard on some guns it works fine.
  12. 1500... unless i'm mistaken, that's the same price i could get the whole kit new for.
  13. comes with 6 mags. My LGS has one for sale, they're asking too much and I want to see what a reasonable offer is. Also, i'd want to get a 9mm barrel for it, I've heard with some guns you can load up 9mm into a 40 mag, is that the case here?
  14. while the frame is beefy, but there is a little flex on the table top, i'm going to reinforce it and see what happens.
