  1. 15lb will work on most ammo I tried. Springs are cheap and easy to swap, you can always test what works for you
  2. Nearly the best thing ever to get kids or females shooting. Recoil is hilariously light. Sights can be identical to your 9mm sights. I have one for a 22 steel match. It's a phenomenally fun, reliable kit. It's a "fun" gun for me as I prefer to practice with 9mm. However, the Kadet kits are better than most 22s in reliability and you do keep a consistent grip and sight picture. Definitely worth buying, I'd buy another one.
  3. Yes, dot and comp on the pistol are good for Open and 2x4. Oh and suppressors are good to go on anything in open and 2x4. Cans are good on any rifle or PCC as well.
  4. If you throw it 10 feet and hope it lands in a bucket are you really worried about the extra risk of the safety coming off? To answer seriously, I had mine partially come off but I was dumb and abandoned it on the extended safety side (right thumb of pistol) at an angle that exerted a good amount of force on the safety. Dumping the pistol on the other side without the extended safety I can't see enough material to catch in most buckets but then again, if you want to challenge Murphy to a game of odds...
  5. Rapidly gaining interest in UML, rate higher than your loss rate. I can bring new shooters out to shoot multigun with 1) Only a PCC, 2) A PCC and a Handgun. The new folks and the folks that hate shotguns don't have to shoot the shotgun to play in multigun, initially or ever. That's huge for me. I have gotten more folks shooting multigun in 1 month with UML rules than I did last year using 3GN rules. It's so much easier when I can tell someone "Yeah, you can shoot the PCC the whole match to see if you like it" than.."Well, you need to learn how to jam shotgun shells in a loading port really fast because there's this 40 round shotgun stage" To further expound, the rules are copied and pasted from a safety perspective from most other rule sets so they are acceptable from the most important perspective. However, UML rules contain the only division where I can be supremely creative and use not 3, but 4 guns in 3 gun. Not only does 2x4 add PCC and drastically increase the creative landscape of stage planning, I can also engage ANY target safely with ANY of my more than 3 guns, irrespective of nonsense written in a WSB. If it's safe to shoot with the gun, I can do it. Every WSB is now "Safely engage targets from within fault lines." No excessive scripting or asinine multi-colored target schemes are required.
  6. I received clarification from Pete regarding this specific wording. Your interpretation is correct. FOR ANY division where that wording appears for rifles (PCC) you may essentially totally swap guns provided the gun fits in the rule set of the division. "Let the gaming begin"
  7. Yep, it's the TS frame. Then there's the little nugget that the A01 is still happening
  8. Is the titanium version on a Tac Sport lower? If so I'd be keenly interested in re-asking whether they will offer this in 40 for Limited. The TS Blue model being 9mm only was a disappointment in that I couldn't get it to shoot Limited. I only need so many collector guns without filling a specific division purpose.
  9. Yes, 17 round mags with a +5/6 TTI basepad are the standard for 141 mm mags on the Glock platform. They are incredibly reliable and extremely simple to use. If you want to verify your mags meet spec, purchase the EGW mag gauge. The Stoeger Pro Shop has both basepads and the gauge (and a Girl Scout Cookie Promo going on).
  10. It works with everything, spend away! Factory pro install is of course still an option for full builds
  11. Cowtown is one of the matches in USPSA and 3 Gun that I won't miss. I enjoy the stages, the administration runs things well and the facility is top notch.
  12. I need this in my life. Reminds me of some CZs I saw while visiting New Zealand. Bunches and bunches of 75s built into beautiful open guns.
  13. I have not! Is that a Czechmate frame with a S2 grip, S2 mag release? Or a Shadow 2 with a CM style magwell and CM length slide converted to SAO??
  14. They allowed the inclusion of PCC to any division, presumably as a separate division. Tactical+PCC maybe? I might not be reading it correctly so hopefully there's a bit of an explanation regarding PCC. They explicitly prohibit suppressors in all divisions so I wont be running these rules in any match I host.
  15. Hey Nemesis, Here are the part #'s for GMR-15 receivers: Lower Kit: JPGMR15LR-K1 Lower with Trigger: JPGMR15LR-K2 Lower with Roller Trigger: JPGMR15LR-K3 If you need any help ordering I sent you a PM with my contact information, would be happy to get you set up. As far as receivers, last year when they released the GMR-15 there were so many orders that every receiver was going into a gun from what I understand. I've been quite happy with my GMR's. Right now they are at ~20,000 rounds on my 1st and ~25,000 rounds on the 2nd. I will admit having lots of help getting the 2nd broken in so well. Cheers!
  16. My JP barrels will plunk and spin 147 grain RN Blue Bullets beyond GLOCK brand GLOCK mag length. That should be long enough eh?

    Cz for 3 gun

Safariland makes the GLS. Here's the thread GLS. Fits a Shadow, Shadow 2 and Tac Sport. Even fits a Czechmate in limited configuration. I shoot a Shadow 2 for 3 gun and USPSA production. If I were getting one pistol it would be the Shadow 2 as the frame is a huge upgrade compared to the Tac Sport and S1. TS 9mm is kind of limited to 3 gun where a S2 can do everything the TS does and more. Find your local CZ squad at the match and say you're curious. We love converting folks to the CZ faith. Shoot every gun until you find what you prefer. Start your collection there. Pick a CZ, drop some Grams spring/followers and TTI basepads and go shoot. Cz's are a blast and stupid reliable.
  18. Double check which powder bar is in. Having the small powder bar in trying to load 20+ grains of H335 will result in spillage. H335 measures better than any rifle powder I've used. Something is wonky with the powder drop, static or the bar or maybe goop in the funnel.
  19. Ditch the arredondo's if they are giving you issues or switch to 115 RN. If it's only the extended mags that are giving you a problem you can switch extensions to Taylor Freelance, Taran Tactical or MBX. Or you can order an extra power mag spring and see if that resolves the issue with your extension. For your ammo I would also definitely case gauge if you are not already doing so. I'd also check OAL before and after manually cycling your ammo. From an open bolt, drop the bolt on a round and re-measure the ammo and check for setback. I'd also strongly suggest switching to a fast burning powder like Bullseye, Titegroup or N320. I suspect you may be getting unburned powder in the blowback action. I know when we tried HS-6 it was filthy because of this issue. Keep us updated!
  20. Buy 100 of each, chrono and get a feel for what you actually like through your gun. You don't want to get stuck with a bunch of ammo either you or your gun don't like.
  21. When I bought my Benelli M2 I was in grad school. 3 seasons later I do not regret having to buy 18+ chickens at 50cents a lb and eating WAY more rice and potatoes than chicken for a while. I've seen 930's fall apart nearly any way you can think of including having the safety literally shoot out the back. The M3000's are less troublesome but again, not 100% that I've seen. My M2 has been great. The old school M2's like Kurt's really set a standard for the 3 gun shotgun. The Hayes and TTI M2's I've seen at matches and practices run phenomenal. Buying the Benelli will get you into a gun that you can run 200,000+ rounds with some basic $40 spring replacements maybe every 20k....if you want to go overboard and replace the springs. You wont have to fix it, you wont have to upgrade it in the future. You and 4 buddies can run it at a 250+ round shotgun match and not have a single worry. Shoot the gun you have until you can swing the M2. Then in 3 years you can post how much you still love Denna...err..YOUR M2...
  22. I broke my barrel in at a 5 stage, 50 shot per stage hoser match. No target further than 15 yards and not a single no shoot to be seen. Barrel still seems to hit 500 if I don't jerk the trigger too bad. One day I'll be retired and have enough time to break in a barrel the proper way.
  23. Well, it's the end of the year so I'll pipe in. We are just over 25K on a GMR13 and I finally hit 20K on my first GMR13. I trust my GMRs more than any other gun I own. Reliability has won me matches when I simply wasn't the best shooter. All that aside, I have run random factory and a plethora of reloads from folks shooting the GMR in matches. The JP had eaten every bullet profile and power factor from major down to 60 PF. If it's 9mm and it fits a GLOCK mag it will work. If you want to buy a PCC that you can take out of the box and go win matches without wasting time screwing with it getting it to run, get the JP. I'm biased though.
  24. Well, I heard back on the 40 bull barrel Tac Sport..that's a no go or no plans or just waiting for SHOT.... Here's to hoping starting a rumor will generate demand
  25. I must be the only person that has not done a single thing to the MBX, TF or TTI extensions/mag bodies/followers and had 100% reliable function.
