  1. Damn that shadow 2 orange group is awesome.
  2. I've had 3 holes put in both a 38 super gun and a 9mm gun. They each lost 3pf. I was happy with the changes.
  3. You enter in your load data and shoot through the chrono and it records your shots. Its easy to read and use and you can refer back to it later on keeping all of your load data on your phone. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.competitionelectronics.prochrono.app
  4. If the labradar had the Prochrono DLX bluetooth app it would be perfect. I really liked the app when I borrowed a friends prochrono when my CED was being a jerk. That one had some trouble with the lighting conditions also though which was frustrating.
  5. I bought a labradar about a year ago after trying to persist with a CED. So glad I did. Tonight I found out my wife and kid were going to be out so I needed to load some ammo with a new powder, go to the range, chrono it and come back home to load. I was in and out of the pistol club in 10 minutes. It was 5pm, dark and raining. I shot under flouros. I shot 20 rounds with no missed shots. That would have been a nightmare with the CED in those conditions. It struggled when the weather was good.
  6. https://www.ipsc.org/executive-council-meeting-march-2021/ There was this release saying barrel weights in std would be ok as long as they dont go past the muzzle. Sounds like the artemis doesnt please the rules. But who knows these days.
  7. My $15 amazon reversing camera works a treat.
  8. Its not much faster. Get one if you want swaging or autodriving or need adjustable primer seating. Otherwise don't bother. My 1050 is autodriven and I am contemplating downgrading to a manual 750 and pocketing the difference for other things. I could even sell 2 toolheads and buy a 750 down here.
  9. Were the cases bulging for the extractor to come out or did it do it on its own?
  10. Buy a 2nd hand 2011 open gun without ports. Shoot minor out of it. Confirm it can shoot minor before you buy it. Some don't function well. Mine used to work until it was ported.
  11. Ive got the 6 on a shotgun. Its definitely bigger side by side to a 2.5.
  12. I've read that 9mm kimbers run a 40 breachface anyways.
  13. Ive had a 1050 for 5 years with a mark 7 and this is the first Ive heard about a primer drian hole. When I start getting low on projectiles or brass I just dont put as many primers in. Its not that hard. After the primer alarm goes I have 3 primers left.
  14. Broken plunger spring behind the bit that contacts your slide stop?
  15. I bought the cbax hanger to solve the same problem. I'm happy with it on my RHT holsters.
  16. I put one on my shotgun. The dot is bigger but I wouldnt say it is more crisp than the 2.5. It's the same shape dot as the 2.5 which is not as round as my cmore in the same size.
  17. Win brass is weak stuff. Compared to other cases it is more likely to blow out with high pressures. I would just avoid using it if you can. I've had one blow out the same in 9 major so far. It was a WIN case. If you search for kabooms on here you will see lots of WIN brass. A guy at my club has had 3 blow outs in the last 2 weeks shooting 9 minor in a STI Omni. The guy that loads for him has switched to a slightly faster powder because powder is hard to get. They were all WIN cases. His other cases were fine. He shoots mixed range brass. I used to have the same issues in 357 sig with WIN brass in my Infinity. I shot Federal and WIN brass. It would blow out the side like in your photo. It happened 5 or 6 times before i got the picture and got rid of it all. The steel grip had a star shaped cutout like the texas ranger guns you see and I'd be left with a black star shaped imprint on my palms.
  18. My tacsol kit worked fine on my 9mm and 357 sig 2011's. The 40 grain mini mags were the best from memory. I used it on my 1911 more because the mags were cheaper to buy.
  19. That is pretty good, Hopefully my friend gets the same treatment. It is about 18 months old but we had 6 months of no shooting due to covid. The crack is around the middle of the ejection port on the bottom side. The gun was not cycling well anymore, we replaced the ejector thinking it was binding then saw the crack.
  20. I saw a bul open gun with a cracked slide today. Have you seen much of that @yigal?
  21. In your picture the rim must not be good unless its forced in there. Anything that I guage that looks like that gets shot unless it looks real bad. If the match is important to me I'd put it aside.
  22. Some brass is thicker than others as you go down towards the base. This bulges out with heavier projectiles as they go in deeper and push out more material. I tried to get 145's to work but at the cost of sorting by headstamp it wasn't worth my time. Back to 125's and no bulging.
  23. I thought that was the other way around? Rifle primers do it because the cup is too hard and doesnt seal to the case when fired.
