Does using a chainsaw really work to cut lead? My range has steel backstop and the lead in the corner between it and the ground is rock hard and I need to work out how to get it out. A small jackhammer didnt work but a small chainsaw might get it done.

Why do people who shoot several misses a match worry about losing 2 points for a charlie?

It doesnt matter. I split just as fast with my shadow 2 as I do with my 2011s. Watch Yong Lee on youtube, He shoots a sig p320 which has a horrendous reset in comparison to both and still has super fast splits.

Looks like the scope mount could use longer screws.

Im having this issue too, just started loading 147's. I have a Mr bulletfeeder expander so dont count on it fixing your issues. I just went and barrel dropped some into a gen 4 glock barrel. The first one that failed was a CBC case as mentioned above by HesedTech. I did a bit of googling and the main thing is to load longer, change bullet profile so less is put into the case or sort by headstamp. Avoid CBC, winchester and stepped cases. CBC was mentioned in quite a few threads I found on google. HesedTech and Memphis are all over it.

It sure looked like it. Very porous. He only bought it last week. Its a shame we are getting old stock already in Australia. It was supposed to fix the extraction problems he was having with the stock extractor.

My friend broke his bul pivoting extractor yesterday. Seems like cast metal garbage. It broke off at the firing pin stop.

I accidentally used a dillon 40 resizing die to try and resize 357 sig cases a month or so ago, I had done it in the past. It trashed about 400 cases because I turned the press on and walked away (1050 with mark7). The inside of the case gets sized too so it will wreck the 9mm cases. After realising what happened I remembered that I had used a 40 cal push through die for this previously, not a sizing die.

You can buy conversions for the MR bullet feeder. Ive got one. It was 3d printed by someone on the cast bullets forum.

A sig expert wants to blame the ammo and not the massively unsupported chamber? Maybe go to a real gunsmith instead.

Bullets arent hitting the rifling. They plunk tested fine. It isn't out of battery either. The case head is flush with the barrel hood in that pic. The case just isn't supported well.

Yep. Sig on the left, Glock 17 Gen 4 in the middle. Shadow 2 on the right. That's an early silver barrel. I bought a newer sig x5 non legion with the black barrel and it was the same. I thought it might be the gun so I bought another one and it did the same thing in the first 10 rounds. Much disappointment. I had to use a slower powder or sort my cases by headstamp just for my x5 so sold them both.

Yep. My X5's slides had to come quite far back to unlock the barrel. My early one could release the striker at that position but the new one wouldn't release the striker after only a tiny bit of movement. That's the role of the new disconnector and milled portion under the rear of the slide, like a 1911.

Check if your gun can fire out of battery. Pull the slide back and slowly release it until the striker goes off. Is the barrel locked into the slide at this point or not? If its locked up, it can't be out of battery ignition. I think OOB gets thrown around too liberally on here. IMO if it was out of battery the case head wouldn't be missing, you'd just have the sides of the case blown out. My money is on double charge.

Oh dont get me wrong, I think these guns are junk. I had 2 x5's. Both would bulge a certain combo of case and powder and blow up others. I ended up selling them and going back to my shadow 2's. I complained strongly at the time. lol The problem for the regular x5 (IMO) is just the unsupported barrel. The earliest ones released the striker out of barrel lock up but unsure if it would hit the primer with the barrel in that position. The post upgrade ones with the trigger disconnector were much better. Maybe the legion has new problems too? I thought the chamber was fixed in them? Those facebook comments reduced my IQ level.

The slide is back .004 but the barrel lug would still be locked against the slide at that point.

There was no way for my last X5 to fire out of battery. I doubt the legion can.
