  1. I found I had more cases not feed into the fancy shellplate. Went back to the dillon.
  2. Have you checked your powder charge on different scales?
  3. Why are you yelling when we all agree? I could get the crimp good enough so it didn't setback but the bullet feeder die was the source problem. The important thing is to check for setback. Ive never had primers pop out when shooting the gun. How much clearance is there between your barrel hood and breachface?
  4. In the OP he said 1.16 so maybe its just a typo. Have you done the bench press test yet? When I first started loading long I'd get bullet setback unless my crimp was spot on. Too much crimp and I had setback. Too little and I had setback. My bullet feeder die was flaring the case deeper than the bullet would seat so there was no neck tension.
  5. Push a loaded round against a bench with a little bit of pressure and see it if shrinks in OAL.
  6. That is damaged. That centre groove should continue all the way to the bottom.
  7. Yep, that bit. On my 750 there is a P and an R right in the centre. Maybe its a new addition. The short ramp, long flat bit is for rifles to drop down and clear the case feed arm. The long ramp, short flat is so the pistol cases drop down later because they are short.
  8. Thanks for the video. Your cases arent feeding into the machine right because you need to flip this bit around. P facing you is for pistol, R is for rifle.
  9. Cool thanks. I've got an M die on the way as well. I was wondering if it was different if you size before getting to the trim die.
  10. Smashing them out. Do you need to open the necks back up again after trimming? I got my 1500 yesterday and my lyman trimmer is on the way.
  11. Are you sizing with the lyman trim die or separately? If you are adjusting your size trim die so it doesnt get stuck is it sizing properly? Google showed me a guy having a similar problem with a 308 Lyman die and more lube fixed it.
  12. Thankyou, I was wondering if that was the case with the longer grip.
  13. Do Q5 and PDP use the same mags?
  14. I always do 2 passes. You would be suprised at the crap that comes out of the primer pockets when the cases are deprimed. It definitely contributes to primer malfunctions. I deprimed a bunch of cases and tried to load without cleaning and had priming issues straight away. I gave up after 300 rounds so I could clean it properly. There was a small mound of primer dust on the primer punch tilting the primers. Once clean I loaded 9700 rounds in a day with zero issues and zero powder spilled on the deck. I also like to deprime brass that I wet tumble without waiting too long. I've seen some primers or even just the side walls of primers stick in cases that get left in the elements. The mark 7 swage sense picks up every case that doesn't get deprimed and stops the press. It is great for sensing but I havent had a lot of luck getting consistent swaging results from it. I'll fit the standard swage rod when I need it.
  15. I've had a slipperly STI lawman that came cerakoted from the factory. The guns I have cerakoted myself haven't been that bad now that I think about it, different serrations though I suppose.
  16. That sounds like it takes an awful long time. I'm using dillon dies but I throw in 40 cases and they come out loaded as 357 sig. Hornady one shot as lube.
  17. Jeff226 has 226 posts. Most of them complaining about 40 dating way back to 2019. What's your uspsa number? Who are we dealing with.
  18. If that has dropped and the bolt isn't bent then doesn't that mean the case plunger slide has worn on the bottom lowering the whole lot? Do you have a different case feed slide you can try from a calibre conversion? Try a new slide and the old bolt and roller and see if it is the same.
  19. Why not just load sig normally with 357 sig dies? I think I've read you can't move the powder measure on the 750.
