  2. Bayou Bullets also has 135g. I settled on them after testing different loads from 115-147. It is subjective in the end as to which combination feels best for you. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  3. Extensions are legal as long as the overall length is 141mm or less. What do these vendors state as the installed length? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  4. 1. 180g RN ibejiHeads over 3.8g of Alliant e3 2. 200g RN Bayou over 3.4g of Alliant e3 CZ TS
  5. How does the extractor look? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  6. IMHO, giving the shooter the option of Minor or Major in a division is just a choice and not a restriction. Shoot it the way you wish. Major is more challenging and earns more points. It's totally up to you.
  7. I have a TS and have done trigger-work, grips and some frame modifications myself for a very modest price. I experimented with the Czechmate-based thumb-rest: https://cpwsa.com/products/cz-czechmate-and-ts-thumb-rest But found the Shooting Sports Innovations NITRO FIN Tanfoglio/CZ Slide Lock Thumb Rest: https://www.speedshooter.com/product_detail.cfm?id=NF17-4 TF&n=Shooting-Sport-Tanfoglio-CZ-Slide-Lock-Thumb-Rest worked better for smaller handed folks. It required some minor fitting to function 100% I've handled a TSO and liked it but, believe the TS is a better value for me.

  15. LAPG has a pants with stretchable panel that work well. They also have a short with wicking panels for hotter climates Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  16. 135g Bayou RN over 3.0 of e3, running 1.125 OAL Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  17. There is a perceived improvement that makes it worth considering. Everyone has to be their own judge. I've shot the "chubbies" previously and found them to work well. Similar experience to the Atlanta Arms 147g reloads. I've moved to 135g RN bullets from Bayou for reloading to get a better all around feel and feeding from my CZ and my PCC.
  18. I would definitely look around on eBay. There are normally a large number of used Dillon presses and accessories up for auction. Since the warranty is lifetime on their presses the price-point for used appears to hover around 80-85% of the new price.
  19. I have a Dillon 550 and currently load 9MM and 40S+W with it for use in USPSA. I previously had a Lee progressive which in "principle" should be a good press. My PERSONAL experience with the Lee was that: 1) the primer system is unreliable. To get primers to feed takes a significant amount of "fiddling". This I feel is the most significant issue with their presses. There are lots of YouTube videos on all sorts of ways to "tweak" the feeding system but, I found myself spending a lot of time not cranking-out rounds. Out of a hundred primers I would average 4 jams that required me to remove the feeder tray and fish-out misfeed primers., 2) the case feeder also takes a lot of "fiddling" to keep it running. It would misfeed and require adjudication on average 5-6 times per 100 cases being feed. When I considered the time the press was "Not-Mission-Capable" it was frustrating. If you only have limited time to produce ammo then the above situation becomes even more painful.
  20. I have good success going direct to Blue Bullets for poly-coated bullets or, Bayou Bullets for Hi-Tek coated bullets Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  21. Could be a HUGE shift away from those divisions based on standard capacity mags. Could make for a jump in Production and SS. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  22. I have both. CZC have the advantage if you need to clean your mag during the match. I have no seating issues with the CZC small magwell using the Springers. They are slightly lighter than the CZC items. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  23. Ben Stoeger's Pro Shop also carries them Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  24. What follower are you using? I've had the best outcomes with Grams followers when using extensions and +springs Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
