  1. For everyone I've known shooting a JP/blow-back AR-9 there hasn't been any issues with reliability. For ~40% of the folks shooting an MPX they've had at least one issue affecting reliability. It seems earlier version of MPX was more trouble prone with 2nd Gen or Competition models performing better. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  2. Didn't know about Lyman either... I've got a EGW 50-round 9mm I got as a Match prize but looking to add a 100-round setup Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  3. I have the Taccom ULW barrel. I run 115gr RN @ 1.123-inches in my PCC with the MBX recoil system. I have had great reliability out of it. I also use the Taccom carbon fiber handguard. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  4. Simple feedback is that with the same load my 16-inch PCC would average 85-FPS faster than my CZ SP-01. CZ - 130-PF, PCC - 139-PF
  5. Agree that the laser is useful for difficult shots around, under or over barriers where a sight picture can't be readily obtained with your dot. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  6. I personally have found the Green dots to be significantly easier to pickup than Red versions. Rare to lose the dot in backgrounds. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

  8. MBX sells one for C-More's Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  9. I've had great success with their 535 model in my MBX Pro Series PCC. More $ than the Sporting version. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  10. Mike Seeklander @ shooting-performance had a online video/downloadable material training sessions for PCC. Max will do 2-day onsite training at your club for 10-15 folks Tactical Performance Center out West does PCC specific trading as well Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  11. I've gotten that DQ at a major match you refer to in your example. What for me was that instant frustration, turned on the drive home as resolve not make the mistake again. Reevaluating ones tecniques and reinforcing good safety discipline through practice moves you past a DQ. Explaining how to avoid the same mistakes you made to others is beneficial to us all. 12. I had wanted to balance the weight distribution more - she's front heavy. The only option was to purchase their pistol barrel and weld-on an extension to get to 16-inches.
  13. I have an FX-9 and it is a decent, reliable entry level AR-9. There are two shortcomings with it: 1) It does have a number of proprietary parts on it that are not compatible with standard AR parts - upper/lower receiver; barrel/barrel nut; mag release; bolt and charging handle. You can swap in other triggers, safeties, buffer/spring combinations and of course whatever optics you want. 2) the charging handle tends to gouge where the release catches the upper receiver.
  14. Great approach! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

  16. I have had luck with this load: Xtreme 115 RN, 3.8gr e3, Winchester SPP, loaded to 1.125. Run it out of my SP-01 and PCC (Taccom 5.35" ULW barrel)
  17. I have the Green version and under all conditions it is much easier to see/use. My distance is still 20/20 or better so target focus with the 65moa circle is a great combination. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  18. I have 3 of their extensions installed. I've only had one mag that just wouldn't work with them and moved it to different 33-rnd body. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  19. I used their carbon fiber tube handguard on mine. Nice overall weight reduction Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  20. 14.5" barrel with pinned comp - 115gr Xtreme or Berrys RN, 3.7gr e3, 138PF 5.5" barrel with pinned shroud (Taccom) - same but with 4.0gr e3, 138PF MBX Pro Series with Short-reset kit Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  21. I would get similar looking marks from time to time in my MBX using 135gr RN loaded to 1.12 inches. Switched to 115gr, kept the same OAL and haven't seen the feeding marks since. The 115gr bullet profile is slimmer and seemed to eliminate the issue. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  22. I shot a Glock 35 for the first half of a season and then I shot a Glock 21 in 45-ACP for the remainder of the season. I eventually moved to a CZ TSO and back to 40 S+W. In the Glock I shot 230, 200 and 185 gr FMJ rounds. I liked the 185 best since I felt the sights settled back quicker.
  23. He's been shooting a Limcat more recently and it doesn't have an offset sight, just the 510. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
