What kind of places are you guys looking for? I live in Orange City/Deland area. Orange City has the normal Chile's, Applebee's, and Ruby Tuesday's, and all the fast food places you can want. All of this is right off of I-4 so it's easy and quick to get to. Also, Rachel's Wing Shack in Deland is a small little place with good wings and a darn good burger.

Just get a uncut frame then have your gunsmith cut whatever you need.

You want the H series. Also, read the information from cerakote and follow the prep instructions exactly. People like to skip on the prep work then bash cerakote when it comes out crappy.

I can't answer your question about the AR but don't hesitate to do cerakote. Just find somebody that knows what they are doing and you will be good to go. It's kinda hard to screw up cerakote if you follow the manufacture's instructions.

Check with Lone Star Innovations. They have a new safety out that addresses your issue.

I have a compact 9mm. Mine has been 100% reliable since day one. I carry mine in a cheap uncle mike's holster. I would say to leave out the safety. I'm not sure if you've shot one but depending where you are in Fl I could let you shoot mine.

Med flat and a dawson low pro mag button.

I'll add another + for the DAA powder funnel. Works great for coated bullets. Much more forgiving when cases are all different lengths.

If you got the cerakote off in a ultrasonic cleaner then surely it wasn't done correctly. What was your problem with cerakote?

Some of your problems could be your powder of choice. I've seen many comments on here about 7625 being harsh with a 180 at major power factor.

I would go with a trubore or something similar. I built a m&p into an open gun just to compare to my 2011's. For me the m&p was violent and not as fun to shoot.

It will tighten it up but sooner or later it will wear off. I've sprayed a few loose 2011's and it tightened them up quite a bit. I can't say how long it lasted but one thing is for sure. After a little break in the slide/frame fit felt like it was on bearings.

I'm not sure why people shoot a classifier any different than any other stage. I see many guys go hero or zero on classifiers. I've also seen a few guys stay after so they can shoot the classifiers over and over again. I'm not so sure I get the idea behind that.
