  1. Keep in mind that pistol mags still have a length limit. As an experiment, you may want to lighten your 2011 recoil spring and see how your PCC ammo shoots in the 2011.

  5. Ah, the fine art of Para follower trimming*. It is kind of hard to tell from the overhead picture but it looks like the follower is trying to tip forward into a nose down position. Get a big ass screwdriver and push down on the rear of the follower. Also, be sure to point the top of the mag tube at something you are willing to destroy There may also be a clockwise twist. Give the right side a nudge with the BASD. * When I trimmed followers, I cut the front skirt and trimmed the rear to make it a bit shorter. A radius on the top front edge helped also.
  6. closed since the infantile members can't play nice
  7. Nope, ETA: I never saw a frame mounted shield. Perhaps you could work that approach?
  8. From FB: PractiScore January 22· RIP Ken's List.... at least for now. We depended on a piece of software for Ken's List that was no longer updated and was becoming a security risk. Not to the main part of PractiScore, but to itself, and by extension to users of it that might be at risk to fraud. So after months of fighting it, we took it down yesterday. It will come back, just not sure if in a new piece of supported software or possibly in the community forums we maintain for tech support. Apologies for the quick action with no notice. It was one of those things where we had stopped permitting posting about a month ago, but left ads there. And it ended up being something it was better, technically, to just rip off the bandaid and shut it down.
  9. Yeah, I meant 2022. Here is a copy of a FB post by Glen at SUPS: Status of Berry’s Steel OpenWe know that there is a lot of interest for the return of Berry’s Steel Open and we are anxious tostart it up again.Although we have started shooting at the Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park, we are working with the bays as they are. The current bay sizes make it difficult to put on the stages that you have come to expect. We are working with the County and will provide a request for changes. The timing for the changes is not yet defined but the County is working closely with us, supporting what we need. So, place Berry’s Steel Open on your 2022 shoot schedule, 1st week in April! Expect it to be the best one yet!We appreciate everyone’s patience as we move forward, re-establishing SUPS as a premier site for large matches.Best Regards,Glen WongPresident, SUPS
  10. It looks like I can go primer shopping again...
  11. Ok, so we are just really talking about an updated version of the old tube sights. Cool. If you shoot where there is a chance of rain, it could definitely be a plus. I remember a stage where I lost the dot for part of the stage with a drop of rain over the diode exit cover on a Deltapoint non-pro on an open gun. I also lost 1/2 the outer reticle on a Holosun 510C on a stage shooting PCC. I had tried a Romeo 5 but I decided that "I didn't like it". It may of been the small dot but the tube was distracting compared to the c-more. I never tried a enclosed sight on my open gun.
  12. We had one range that carefully laid out and sunk square steel tube to hold the target posts. At set up time, they just pulled the plugs from the tube (plugs kept the tube clear of debris) and set the target posts. Easy and repeatable. The bays were also used for freestyle field courses and the setup survived just fine. It is a lot of work up front, but a real time saver for each match! Later, Chuck
  13. Yes. "String 2: On signal, turn and engage T1 with 6 rounds only. Perform a mandatory reload and engage T3 with six rounds only. All shots fired from within area A." The WSB offered no other option.
  14. The first "tube" sights were closed emitter. C-more came out and the tube sights more or less disappeared. I never heard of any movement back to the tube
