    Welcome! Back!
  5. Yup, I didn't know that I had built-in sunglasses until the surgery!
  6. I just found out about this site. I am probably late to the party but here it is. Enjoy https://relisten.net/
  7. Any kind of good training is cool. But, in USPSA competition, a good bit of your time is spent not shooting . A competition oriented class would help you get more efficient in the non-shooting tasks. Good luck! Chuck
  8. I just had an eye exam last week. It has been 7.25 years since my cataract surgery and I am still doing better than 20/20 in both eyes at distance. I'm happy
  9. The pioneers of no adaptor can be found in this 2003 thread: My experience was that the Dillon tubes just fight tightly into the underside of the tray. The bevel made a "funnel" to guide the primers into the tube. The best $29 that I ever spent. The kid that bought my 650 now has it.
  10. I used a VP for more than 15 years. I (and others) simply eliminated the adapter and just held the bare end of the tube against the feed hole in the bottom of the tray. I think I did a light bevel of the tube ID.
  11. That totally sucks. Take care of it!

  13. Thanks! It is much appreciated! Now I will go back to enjoying my massive wealth accumulated working Level 3 matches
  14. I found this link just above your post
  15. Practiscore is showing 15 Hit Factor matches in PA just now.
  16. As you know, Hit Factor is just the USPSA/IPSC label for scoring points per second. I believe that Hit Factor came to designate a match type due to Practiscore creating the new match template so clubs could do points per second scoring without appearing to be a sanctioned USPSA match. As RJH pointed put, the match could be any rule set but is scored points per second.
  17. Looks like one of these: https://industryrecycles.com/shop/interstate-double-endmills-5-32-x-3-8-x-7-16-x-3-1-8-4f-uc-cobalt-1108-3410/#tab-description
  18. You will find that clip in the dictionary under "Can't Be Unseen"!
  19. This hate/cs rant with a touch of personal attack is finished...
  20. I was shooting slide mounted dots in open near 20 years ago. The work was done by Beven Grams. In addition to the slide machining, he had developed a ruggedization method for the Docter sight. The stock sights would not last and neither did the FastFire. (There weren't many options back then)He would pretty much disassemble the sight, remove the adhesive meniscus from the lens and re-glue with a stronger epoxy. Internal electrical connections were re-worked eliminating strain points and the parts that could be potted were (RTV, I think). He also opened up the light sensor hole to increase the sensitivity of the sensor. No dumb things like battery doors, switches and other moving parts. The things were rock solid and would last for many 10K's of rounds. There were a couple guys I know that were still shooting them until recently. But even with all this, the failure mode for the dots was the glass. Things started happening at the joint of the lens and the lens would crack or in one case that I know of, fell out. Besides the results of physical shock, there is also a coefficient of expansion difference in the frame and lens material that works on the joint. In short, a slide mounted dot is on the consumable list. Plan accordingly.
