  1. Gamaliel Shooting Supply in KY accepts back orders on powder. For the last two years, I put my order in January and receive it a few months later. I try and keep a years supply on hand so waiting for the back order works out fine for me.
  2. I think this is the video they are talking about...have not tried it but it looks interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEXB40qgMV0
  3. Love my Tilley, but that's even too hot in the Florida summer. I have taken to wearing a straw "Lifeguard" hat. Cool on the noggen with great sun protection....cheap too!
  4. Keep getting her out there! My wife is a much better shot then I am. If she gets the speed part of our game down she will be beating me regularly.
  5. Is the powder drop sticking in the case? That will produce the results you are describing.
  6. EDC for both my wife and I. Fit & finish are excellent and both of ours have been problem free. I think it perfectly fit's it's application as an EDC/Pocket gun and as someone above said, it's punishing to shoot but it's not meant to be a range gun. I try in run them once a month when we're practicing for 10 rounds or so.....and that's about enough before I say uncle. :-)
  7. My open load is MG 121 to 1.168 and 7.5gr WAC. PF=176 on my gun with no holes, just the comp. 176 pf works my comp very nicely.
  8. 1050 with a MBF my friend. You will never regret that decision.
  9. That made me laugh out loud! But it is sooo true! I bet he looked pretty awesome on video.
  10. Hmm...love Bayou Bullets but it would never occur to me to use them in my open blaster.
  11. Now if they can get the RTS2 right... seriously though, people (including me) tend to be vocal about bad experiences and not so much with the positive. Sort of like media, "nothing bad happened today" does not make for a good headline. ?
  12. In the Tampa area there is a USPSA club match every weekend within a 1.5 hr drive.
  13. While I remain very happy with my Forcht 1050, I finally had a chance to see the Mark 7 autodrive (shown at WorldShot) set-up at A6. While I certainly can't justify it, I am a gadget guy and am going to have to put one on my list....maybe for next year. I like the fact that your 1050 remains unaltered...anyway, it was pretty high on the cool factor and unfortunately price as well. The guy said they have sold 180 units so far this year and they are backlogged 4-6 weeks. www.markvii-loading.com
  14. Dazed and just tired. Wife and I had 1 day to shoot all 12 stages and 2 days of RO work in the hottest, sunniest, most humid weather we have had this year. It was difficult to stay ahead of the hydration curve to say the least. With that said, we had an awesome time seeing our extending shooting family. Thank you to all the shooters and sponsors for supporting Area 6 and to all my fellow staff and friends for making it a great match. Looking forward to seeing you all next time!
  15. In my opinion, a DQ for that would be arbitrated in a heartbeat. However I don't think it would get that far as the RM would apply the rules and reinstate once notified.
  16. I have a DAA dust cover and like it. CED and others have their own as well.
  17. Sad to report that my wife's RTS2 failed us at A6 over the weekend. Dot came and went on it's own. So they are both going back to C-More for the 2nd time. I want to love this sight.....but if either fails again we are done with them. I have to take back my earlier recommendation and advise anyone considering the RTS2 to maybe sit on the sidelines until they get it all worked out....if ever.

  19. I have no problems looking into each case on my 1050 with MBF.
  20. Welcome to the forum! See you at the range.
  21. It looks like you just dropped the funnel in. Is that correct? I have something similar sitting on my bench that Dillon sent me but as I recall, I thought that whole assembly has to be removed and the piece installed inside??
