  1. Drop the mag, rack the slide, let the round fall because I cant safely catch it, show clear, trigger, holster. Look for loose round haha
  2. Cerekote is good for long guns but holster wear in handguns eats it away. My vote is nitride finishing
  3. I usually toss in some strong hand weak hand stuff in each range session, even if it's only 10 rounds a piece. Gotta keep that muscle memory or it goes away
  4. Also interested, thatd be pretty sweet if there was
  5. I started uspsa at 34, but have already climbed from lower c, to b to sometimes even A class times. As long ad you can move you're good. I've had my s#!t kicked in numerous times by "seniors"
  6. Yeah that kinda sucks when you're stuck at an indoor range, when outdoor shooting season is done I still dryfire and hit up the local idpa indoor matches to keep me in shape for uspsa
  7. I have the BSPS dryfire targets that I enjoy using, I can even use them as rifle targets for 3 gun
  8. Just be warned that the artemis is a sightblock gun, sightblock guns have a different feel than a standard bull barrel. The added weight causes me to dip shots low initially after not training with it for awhile
  9. I actually have a unity tactical mount under my aimpoint to create a carry handle optic mount height, I dobt even run nods I just find this more comfortable, just gotta practice a bit to learn the holdovers under the zero distance
  10. Basically pick a spot in your home, weapon safe of course, and just reps, reps and more reps. It'll come
  11. I pretty much get down on my left knee, hold the rifle in left hand for support, use my shooting hand to brace myself onto the ground and then cinch the rifle in. If shooting 3 gun I have to move ny shotshell caddies off to my side
  12. I use to but I switched over to a blue alpha belt that loops back on itself, itself stays pretty secure but as long ad you dibt get crazy with the ratcheting of the outer belt it holds fine without bunching
  13. I'm betting within the next 5 years anything un-dotted and low capacity is gonna be next to dead
  14. That's a pretty good idea, I've got a couple .40s that I doubt get used after this season thatll need something done with. You're right, 40 minor is deceivingly soft
  15. I've got a 13 pound in my s2o, along with reduced firing pin spring, so far it's working alright

    Pointman "9"

    .04 in my pointman 9
  17. Yeah very possibly the mag brake, I have also had the mag catch allow the mag to stick in the gun by mashing it too hard
  18. Absolutely, while it's not fun to get your ass whooped, it is a good learning opportunity if you want it to be. I've always shot better when around better shooters
  19. I like the idea of the index point but I could forsee the thumb rest becoming a crutch to lean on, just my 2 cents
  20. I could never accurately call shots until I got a dot haha
  21. Damn .87? Were you able to see through all that smoke from the draw?
  22. On throughout the day, shut off when the match is done
  23. You'll have to shave down the angled part that rides inside the back if the trigger bar, sucks to have to put it back together but dont get in a hurry. Keep stoning until it reliably resets in single action mode. Seems like most of them have a slight hump in the center of the disconnector that needs shaved down
  24. Looks like a good opportunity to NEED a railed 1911 now
  25. Idk if it were me and I tend to tune guns to how I shoot, these guys maybe right but I cant leave springs alone and wind up cha going things to see if they work better
