  1. Hopefully this thread is still alive but I find myself wondering, is a brake even really needed for 9 minor loads? I've tot a single port on my build and havent really noticed any adverse affects of not having it, main reason is it serves as a suppressor attachment
  2. That's some talent there haha, yeha i get it. I cant say to the drop safety of czs since I try to avoid dropping guns but I'm sure it cant be any worse than many of the others on the market
  3. Oh that sucks, yeah at least you didnt let it hold you back
  4. As far as I know cz only offerred the 75b single action only but think they stopped making them a few years ago. If you're dead set on it, I'd suggest looking on gunbroker. What about running your shadow 2 in a level 2 retention holster? Or are you concerned about running and dropping it more than anything?
  5. As long as you dont have the thumb rest attached for CO you're good to go. Might be careful though running your thunb on top of the holes, may bite ya
  6. All I did with my 9mm pcc was take a milspec upper and lower 9mm barrel, bcg and pcc trigger and have been using it in a few matches. Sounds like you're all set
  7. Honestly at this point anything not steel feels weird
  8. Yeah i hear ya, yeah I can see the sprint intervals being a problem, I've seen some high intensity inclined walking intervals that I've tried out and works pretty well. Basically incline walk for 2 mins, then back to flat for 2, repeat as many times as you want. I've had pretty good luck with adopting a push, pull, legs weight lifting twice a week with cardio 3 times a week. Just feel like explosiveness could be increased some
  9. Oh yeah it's a sweet trigger pull, just a little getting used to. I was almost scared to shoot it with how light and clean the break is. I'm sure itll sound taboo but I kinda prefer the cz trigger to a 19/2011
  10. Sp01s are a solid choice, that's my second favorite after my shadow 2, be careful with the sao, dude let me shoot his tac sport sao and it went off considerably sooner than i expected the shot to break
  11. What is everyone's feelings on how to maintain explosiveness of entering/exiting positions? I do sprints intervals 3 times a week with a 10 pound vest on but feel like I'm getting slower and joints hurt way more the next day.
  12. So i think masterpiece sells an idpa legal variant but the DS9s I've handled are pretty damn good, I have no experience with an atlas but I've got a couple custom builds and think the masterpiece is right on par with it. My .02 cents, I wouldnt hesitate other than the price point, but you get what you pay for too.
  13. I think the only way to do that is with a smaller red dot such as a holosun 507k, otherwise I'm thinking most get the entire rear sight milled out for a plate. Any particular reason you want irons as well as an optic? I personally find it more distracting
  14. I'd check out Hennings, they sell them for ts0/ts2 as well but on my shadow2 theyve been flawless. Those coupled with mbx followers I can shove 24 in the mag. I assume with 40 it would up the capacity to 21, 20 loadable
  15. The last I knew it was still the old behind the hip rule, I could be wrong. But I've always ran them behind my hip even if doing an EDC match
  16. Ugh that sucks. Nothing like making progress for life to happen huh? Well, how long of a recovery does that generally take?
  17. El cheapo jim beam for me, spend so much money on ammo, etc. That I gotta save some money somewhere. Mixed with coke zero to stay lean and trim to fall down on stages.
  18. Ever since I lost a front sight during a match, yes the entire front sight assembly, I've always brought backups. A somewhat close clone to what your primary is would be a nice. The trunk for 3 gun is ridiculously packed full but better to have and it not need it scenario.
  19. I've got one 40 that likes long ammo, another that will run factory no problem, seems to just be a luck of the draw thing
  20. Holding a cz is like shaking hands with Jesus himself
  21. One legged man in an ass kicking contest never have true words been spoken regarding SS
  22. Says I have to introduce myself so here goes, Zach, northwestern mo native, bare knuckle underground brawler, dog sympathizer, gear enthusiast, manages finances terribly, decided to start shooting uspsa, 3 gun a couple years ago. This did not help with financial management.
  23. It's called a match saver, I've personally not had good luck with them, I actually use a cowboy action shooting dual shell holder, it may be a tad slower but I also dont have a shell in the match saver moving back and blocking spent shells from ejecting
  24. I'm pretty late to the party here but I begrudgingly agree, i hate that I shoot best after not really training at all. Maybe its an overtraining issue, didnt think that was possible when I'm not that good to begin with
  25. Haha dually noted. I was convinced for the longest time they were hydraulically pushed in or something
