  1. Hey all, looking to get everyone's opinion on a new match gun for my small (glove size) handed wife. Currently shoots a Springfield xdm elite but decided something heavier would be helpful. Preferably something striker fired to keep the trigger pull the same, thus far we've narrowed it down to a walther q5 and a canik rival steel frame if we can find one. Am I missing any other steel frame striker fire handguns? We looked at sig p320 but the grip was a little big, are they changeable to smaller ones? Really any help is appreciated.
  2. I'm also using a boss hanger but I'm set up for g code RTI system so I justed a safariland to g code adapter for the hanger plate, thus far it's been pretty solid and doesnt move
  3. Wilson combat 8 and 10 rounders, always work for my setup
  4. That makes complete sense, my dealings are the atlas bows are generally longer than the bows I've worked with in the past. Sure wouldve been nice to know that helping a friend work on one a while back
  5. Your best bet may be to take a screw and go to a local hardware store and buy good replacements
  6. Do you have access to a trigger pull guage?
  7. Some of the tso mags with henning basepads and mbx followers can shove 25. I can almost get 25 shoved in a mecgar, henning plus 5/6 base pad and mbx follower but its a little too tight for comfort. It's right at the 140mm threshold but its legal
  8. That's a good idea, idk why I didnt think of the velcro idea to begin with!
  9. I've had good luck with a 1-6, even with a 1-4 I've never felt disadvantageous, I think unless you're eyesight is super bad then a 1-10, with it's more narrow field of view is gonna hinder you more than help. I'd stick with a 1-6 for 300 and under
  10. Your disconnector needs fit, i used a 400 grit stone on the long vertical part that interfaces with the back of the trigger bar, its gonna suck but it's the only way to get it to where it needs to be. Take a few stone swipes, check, repeat until the trigger resets and drops in single action mode
  11. 507 comp is what I just put on a 2011, im hoping it holds up alright. Hopfully shooting 9 minor will be a long life lived. Thus far for the price point, I dont think it can be beat
  12. I hear ya, yeah it made me cringe too, so I just started buying all silver basepads so the stoned down tops aren't as noticeable haha
  13. Haha you either huh? I had a set ad well and immediately went back to my thin lok grips. Who knew it took money to figure out what works best
  14. I didnt either, but for me its function over vanity
  15. I'll bet your basepads are too wide/tall and need to be shaved down. I had a shadow 2 with an armory craft magwell that did the same thing. Too much pressure when smacked in to lock, shaved down the tops of the pads and viola, 24+1 goodness coupled with a magwell
  16. Brave move, I'm glad its gonna work out for you. Really you can't go wrong with reputable companies, I personally have become a cz fanboy over the last couple years and currently shoot a shadow 2 with an sro up top. Now just to settle on a backup
  17. Idk why that would be illegal, idk how they could guage anything without actually seeing the swinger but, to each their own.
  18. My bet is production 15 will be the new result. Although shooting A fudgecicle nobody but a few crayon chewers and winder likkers want is always fun, it sucks at the end of the day to see how many points were left standing out in charlie zone.
  19. I used stonebridge gunworks in MO, direct milled my shadow 2 for an sro, quick turn around and well priced. Its quickly become my favorite setup
  20. Idk that I'd do a prodigy, the ones I've handled are kinda dogs#!t. If you're wanting to go a 2011 route I'd look around for a used sti 9mm, as much as I enjoy the 2011 platform I always find my way back to the cz family
  21. That's exactly my scenario, I was deciding if I wanted to dot my 2011 or not, thus far the 507 comp and 2011 mate together very well, mine is also on an egw adapter plate and holding up just fine thus far
  22. Well, you got me there, looking cool is what it's all about. The good thing about cool looking match videos is you can't see all the delta Mike's haha
