Sc0
Black Dog advertises a Kydex Ruger holster that fits the MK II and 22/45 series with dot attached. http://blackdogmachinellc.net/holster-for-the-ruger-mark-series.aspx I am not sure if it will clear the VQ comp so did not order it. (I did order a few mags/drums for my NC22 upper and am highly impressed with their products.)
belus
Just before Christmas I picked up a 8 moa Serendipity for $80 (falsely advertised as 2moa which nobody seemed to want). Soon afterwards I found a CZ lower for sale and had a dedicated host for my infrequently used Kadet kit. The sight is tapped into the top rib with the forward screw just behind the barrel roll pin (partially tapped into the barrel itself), and the rear mounting screw is just ahead of the sight cut. This weekend I built a slide racker because the CZ Kadet slide is hard enough to grasp without a C-more in the way. The pistol will mostly be used to teach my parents to shoot because of their aging eyes. I hope to have them shooting some steel matches in the coming months. edit: btw, if you're going to build a similar style racker for a CZ Kadet don't attach it the way I did. A notch ~0.200" wide by maybe 0.050 deep and a single screw behind the cocking serrations would work better. There's about 0.180" of meat in that part of the slide before you hit the firing pin stop, and the lightening cuts inside the slide resulted in me breaking off a drill bit and later the tap in the forward hole. The pieces were a real pain to remove. Edited January 18, 2011 by belus
lumpygravy
Here's my MkII back from Volquartsen. Stingray conversion w/ Volquartsen internals. 32 hole comp Allchin w/ C-More 2# trigger Black (Cera/Dura? Cote) coating Roughly zeroed, but I really need to bench it. It's also a little heavier than I thought it would be but I still like it a lot.

40S&W
Man, that's the one question I haven't gotten an answer to yet. I'm going to try and find out as it's really cool! I'll post details if I can sort it out. R, Ok, this is amazing. Who made the mag well. Man, that's the one question I haven't gotten an answer to yet. I'm going to try and find out as it's really cool! I'll post details if I can sort it out. R, Ok, this is amazing. Who made the mag well. I have the same magwell. It was made by Randy Hollowbush of the Handgunner Custom Gunshop in Topton, PA. He also made me custom alum. basepads for my mags.
ICON_636
My wife wanted me to build her a .22 with a red dot and it had to be "pretty". Back in August I started slowly picking up parts for "her" gun. However, I wanted a steel challenge open gun so I bought what I wanted and threw some pink grips on it. Build Specs: - Sam Lam hammer bushing - LCI filler/delete - VZ Aztec grips in pink with stainless grip screws - VQ Stainless target trigger - VQ extended safety - VQ extractor - Slingshot mod - Bjtraz slide racker, anodized black - 90* C-More mount, anodized black - C-More slide ride red dot - ZRTS aluminum compensator I love the 90* mount as it gets the lens low enough to use the iron sights through the glass.
