We are now taking pre-orders for RevUp Action(TM) hammers
sousa replied to Toolguy's topic in Revolver Forum
Got mine and installed it on my 627 last night. Love it! I have the Pro Series, so the factory trigger wasn't totally horrendous. But this has changed it into a completely different animal. Can't wait to get it out to the range and do some tuning. Thank you again for making this product! -
If you're using factory ammo, the MPX is better. It is just smoother and feels like a BB gun. If you reload, and can tailor your loads to the gun, the JP can be made to feel just as smooth. I dont reload, and I like the MPX better.

I'm using the PCC Uni-Mag from Shook's Customs. They work great with the ELS forks.

My Uzi is a 10.25" SBR and I have no trouble making hits at extended ranges. My AR is a 10.5" SBR and I also have no issues. The statement above about bullets not stabilizing on longer tighter targets is odd to me since most pistol barrels used in this game are 4.5-6" and people can make their hits at extended ranges no problem.

That is an old Bushnell Holosight. Kind of the precursor to the EoTech.
-
Norinco 320 SBR'd UZI clone with Primary Arms Micro Dot on a Stormwerkz rail. Taylor Freelance +10 extension on the mag.
-
I'm using Safariland 773 pouches for Glock mags with my Uzi mags. Just a bit more tension on the screws and they are fine.
-
I shot a local Steel Challenge match my UZI on Sunday. Although I was the only PCC, I took the overall match win.

And Loctite doesn't cure this?

I find CZ's to be too small in my hand. The Tanfo just fits better. For me anyway....
-
I thought about about doing this but didn't know if it would be feasible. How much did you have to file off the CZ sight to fit it to your Tanfoglio? ~.012" I'm a total idiot, can you possibly show on a pic or drawing, where you filed?

Witness Elite Limited - Reasons why NOT to buy?
sousa replied to Rudukai13's topic in Tanfoglio (EAA / IFG)
I used a Elite Limited in 9mm this year in USPSA. Got it new and I've got approx 4000 rounds through it with exactly one malfunction that was ammo related. Buy with confidence. The gun just runs. -
Witness Elite Match or 1911 9mm for Steel Matches
sousa replied to cjdaniel78's topic in Tanfoglio (EAA / IFG)
The capacity makes this a mute point in my opinion. Do you wannna practice reloads all day like a Single Stack shooter? Or do you wanna shoot more between reloads? No brainer for me... -
Very nice. Got any other pics? I see they also cut the bottom of the slide. How much material was taken out?
-
Looks good!

I shot Open Minor last season in USPSA with a Glock. It was so much fun, and I learned a lot. I now use the gun strictly for Steel. I say go for it and enjoy yourself.
-
I'm interested as well. I'd like my Limited slide lightened up a bit over the winter...
-
I'm using the Safariland 014. It's very fast, but it leaves a little too much of the trigger exposed for my liking.
-
I fired a Stock II last year and from that moment on, I had to have a Tanfo. I ended up getting a Limited Elite and haven't looked back since. With the wealth of knowledge on this forum and from local shooters who helped me out, I've got it modded perfectly and reliably. Don't be afraid to get one and mess with it yourself.

Preferred holster and thumb rest for Limited?
sousa replied to ATLDave's topic in Tanfoglio (EAA / IFG)
Do you have any pics of the gun in the 014? I use the same holster, and while the gun fits, it seems "loose". -
My Dawson sight was loose too. I screwed the set screw through the slide and it's nice and tight. I had to file the screw where it was contacting the barrel, but it's perfect now. A better design from Dawson would be ideal though....

That sideways C-More mount on the 10/22 is SICK!!! I use a Primary Arms Micro Dot right now, but that is pretty damn high speed.

Must you remove the comp every time you clean your Open Glock?
sousa replied to Cy Soto's topic in Open Pistols
I use teflon tape and the comp stays nice and tight. Also comes right off when I need to clean.
