AZGunut Posted January 12, 2008 Share Posted January 12, 2008 Hi everyone, Was just curious as to who receieved a call in the last few days in regards to Nationals for a slot to the match? My Friend and shooting buddy Eddie got a call early yesterday, while I got my call this afternoon. I got in from Area 2. My first Nationals and in shooting open which I have only shot about 8 matches total in including club matches. Well I have a new gun and enough time to hopefully learn a little about it! My first earned slot since starting this sport, its nice knowing and having the time to plan out a trip to Tulsa this year, instead of waiting to put everything together in a short time. It doesn't matter to USPSA that the 1st master beat you by 2.5% (although that is impressive for you!!). I'm not too sure if you'll get the call since you live in Area 5. I don't think it'll matter. hopalong Posted January 13, 2008 Share Posted January 13, 2008 Slots won at area matches....................(Level III matches) If you win the division you win a slot. If there are more than 20 in that division the top 3 get slots. If you are a member of the Area that is Hosting the match and you win your class you will get offered a slot. Junior, Senior, Lady win slots if there are a certain amount of shooters (usually covered at an Area match) That is from the old green book, It may have changed with the new one.
