pjb45
I learned from a friend: Take an old pair of wooden ones, knock down the diamond or whatever they were until smooth. Then put skateboard tape on them. You might want to keep the area by the mag release bare.

dr2e
on 2 pistols i use for the games i have vz operators. i find they provide plenty of grip and allow for easy movement during reloads or re-grips. i do have alumagrips on a pistol that has the techwell on it and they work fine in all conditions. degenerate023
I just started using the Tech Wear USA Grips (and mag well). They feel real nice. +1 on both the grips and magwell
mpolans
I like Pachmyars with the front strap cut off. Great for comfort and the metal inserts protect in case of a double charge or case head blowout.
jasmap
I just recently got another set of grips from Lazza at Davidson's grips. This time I got the Horned Lizard with a thumb relief for the mag button. They are the best grips I've used by far.

Aircooled6racer
Hello: I like the Larry Davidson Horned Lizard grips. These are the most aggresive grips I could find. I had a pair of his Warthogs but they were not sharp enough for me. The Horned Lizards will cut you if you have surgeons hands ;-) Thanks, Eric

19852
I got a pair of black hard rubber checkered grips for about $750, but they did come with a gun attached.
want2race
I've used burner's. I like them, but the last batch I recieved had issues with the glue not holding. Couldn't find what I was looking for so I made them. Total width across grip is 1.30", same as an STI. They are flat across the sides for a more full feel. I went nuts with the 20LPI checkering file one night. $3.50 for the material.
Forester
I don't think the perfect grips exist....but my pick are the davidsons or gunner grips. I also cut a groove in mine to make it easier to hit the mag release without shifting my grip as much.
JakeMartens
Ahrends I like real wood, nice checkering, just sharp enough but not to much. http://www.ahrendsgripsusa.com/ for the money IMO they are the best wood grips out there
