Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

    Desmond Doss

Yup. Google him and read his heroic story.

    Desmond Doss

Heard there is a movie coming out about a Medal of Honor winner who never fired a shot so I looked up Desmond Doss and read about how he earned it. All I could say when I finished was "WOW".

    Thieves

One day I see an extension cord running out the next door house window towards my house. Go out and find it hooked up to one of my outlets. Confront one of the residents, renters..., and out comes the sad story of how a previous roommate took their money but didn't pay the bill blah blah. The part that got me was that he says it was too late to ask and it was supposed to be disconnected before anyone (me) found out. Oh, so you were just gonna steal huh? I must look like a all day sucker to them. Later found out that their power had been shut off for almost a week so only they know how many times they did it. Some people REALLY suck...
  4. Liked mine when I had a vehicle they had patterns for. Bought them for my dad too.
  5. You are already lucky bob as you still will get to shoot down the road. I don't know if your recovery will be like my dad's (quad or quint bypass I can't recall) but hug your pillow, do what the therapists tell you and you will be like new in no time. Speedy recovery and you can sit around dry firing in the meantime.
  6. thanks for clarifying this situation as I wondered what the heck was going on when I would see the same topic multiple times. now if I could only get my large picture files reduced and right side up...
  7. Tied record with 92. I know it isn't as hot as some but this is the pnw! Oops! Broke record with a 93!
  8. Been fortunate selling here and on local forums. Most good folks will check on you as much as you them so most times you get a "feeling" about a possible transaction. Requiring payment by postal m.o. is a good start as the buyer has to be willing to go and deal with the post office to get the funds. Get as much info as you can but since there is a ffl dealer involved (check them too!) you can feel relatively comfortable that it is on the up and up. And make sure what you send is legal in the buyer's state. Good luck!
  9. My start load was 7.7g silhouette behind a mg 124g cmj, winchester srp loaded to an oal of 1.170". It is what the 'smith of the pistol recommended and recorded right around 170pf. Little dirty, which didn't matter since I cleaned after every shoot, it worked and I never cracked my slide!
  10. Contact Dillon and see what they say. I was down at their shop picking up some parts and mentioned that I was having issues and they replaced the primer bar with a new one. Worked fine after that. They will ask you to send back the bad one. They are the best!
  11. Therapeutic? Maybe. I thought it was kinda fun and just part of the whole shooting thing so never really considered it a chore. Always had plenty of ammo ready way before match days.

    Accu Shadow OAL

I was loading mine down to 1.110-1.115" using mg 124g cmj and didn't have any issues. Crono it to see if you are at the speed for pf. I think I got that info from the folks on the cz forum.
