  1. 2006-SSP/ESP Master from match bumps using stock Glock 34. stayed in CDP as an Expert to keep CDP Masters on their toes for years.
  2. Highly agree with this answer. However, this won’t take 1/2 hr a day.. dry fire from the holster the head shot 20-30 times every other day. Then go up to 50 times every other day..no timer..if you feel like you want the head shot 1st, then this will help. Then hit the range and do head shots only..try it out.do not worry about your time. Consistency and visualization is the key. When I was live firing a ton years ago,I would start with 6 head shot only on 2 targets at 20-25 yards. Then my last 6 rounds for the day are head shots at 20 yards.
  3. Hahahaha..nothing new to see. i really wish they would have put ESR in with CDP.. put 8 shot Revolvers in ESP put 6 shooters in CCP ...
  4. I’ve been saying this for years. 8 shot 9/38 in CO.. 40/45Acp at 140/150 PF in CDP..
  5. Yeah the new rule is IDPA took the lead letting 15 rounds in SSP and now USPSA decided to let Production shooters do the same..
  6. No different then adding a 1911 type then saying the barrel is not ported..
  7. From their website ... Featuring Standard 1913 Rail Integrally Compensated Optic Ready Slide so since the slide cut is not a slide cut because it is in front of the sight, then it’s a compensator , so not Legal... https://www.sigsauer.com/p365-xmacro.html
  8. Lot of it has to do with the region you shoot in.i remember when the XD came out probably 20 shooters in a 50 mile area went with them. Then when Springfield brought out the 9mm 1911 25/30 guys went with them. Then the M&P series hit and a lot dropped Glocks for them.
  9. Ran a Loadmaster in 45ACP back in 2001-2005 and loaded around 20-22k on it . Sent it back 2 times due to primer feeding issues and went through at least 6 of the primer assembly’s. Got a 650 and never looked back
  10. I messed up big time back in the 90’s when I sold 12 Leather-bound Capstick books some looked like they were never opened
  11. How else are the appendix carrying guys are suppose to draw while setting without sweeping themselves.?
  12. Trying to resurrect SSP and CCP since it seems CO was hurting those divisions. Don’t understand the reduced PF in CCP, other then a lot of those barrel lengths are around 3.5 to 3.8..
  13. I’m wondering why the PF reduction in CCP ? I guess 10 round in mags is ok.
  14. PDF link Test.. https://www.idpa.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/IDPA-2022-Rulebook-Update-deck.pdf
  15. Big big step in new rules.....thought I would never see the day..salt is not enough when I eat Crow
  16. Your stippling is just fine in CO and ESP. Read the rule book to see about slide features.. it’s free to download.

North mountains works great for speed loaders.
  18. I have a Kimber Super like this one for 15-18 years and used it for practice. Kimber mags were iffy and the Brownell mags worked a lot better. It likes CCI better then anything. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/411536178/kimber+3300153+rimfire+super+10%2b1+22+lr++5 Look at at the specs it’s loaded with checkering, ambi’s, etc.. Also have 2 Marvel units when I thought I was getting back into some bullseye shooting but never did.
  19. Back in the day when I ran the local monthly match, I had 4 guys always wanted to shoot early early Saturday morning so weather permitting we would start setting up Friday night and Saturday at 6-6:30 and shoot at 7:30. Would have the regular crowd show up at 9am and then the out of town guys show up at 1pm. Was always a long day and usually did this 4-5 times a year. This gave the guys that wanted to try out different divisions a good chance to compare pistols and get some good practice in. Mostly did 2 short 8-9 stages then 3-4 stages at 15-18 shots.
  20. Use to shoot both equally 20-25 times a year, then dropped uspsa for past 5 years and IDPA down to a couple majors a year, but still follow groups and blogs. Always found it funny shooters complain about the 39 page IDPA rule book compared to the122 page uspsa rulebook. Still enjoy the uspsa blogs on how 3-5 people argue over the same rule over and over again and 3-6 ways to the interpretation of the rule.. IDPA guys just seemed to learn the rules and pretty much stopped trying to argue and just shoot.
  21. Top is a Les Baer C7 that I’ve been carry 2-4 months a year since 1998. Carry it strong side IWB. And have shot a few match’s with it.
  22. Wonder why nobody has used an Epoxy on the mounting plate along with screws ? they make Epoxy remover if needed. Attack dissolves cured epoxy and polyester resins. It is used to separate bonded but misaligned materials as well as the clean up of cured resin from metal, stone, glass, wood, and similar materials. Use this anytime you are getting a stone off a dop that was attached with a glue. -This is an 8oz resealable can
  23. I would think it be easy for scoring programmers to add sub designated adds to Open and then move Co and Rev Optics all in one division. scoring would be Open, Carry Optics and Revolver Optics. That way you could still see where you stand after a Match.
