That was a great movie.

The guys at Bub Enterprise took the day off to go see that movie. They currently hold the land speed record for a streamliner motorcycle. A friend of mine works for them and my college engineering professor designed the engine for the streamliner. During the time the movie came out, they were in a bit of a slump. There were about to abandon the project which they have been working on for many, many years to do a lot of frustration with the project.

Confession: I sometimes procrastinate. No. . . . . .it's true.

I've had this movie for about a year, and kept meaning to get around to it. I finally watched it tonight.

Don't follow my example. If you see it, get it, and watch it soon.

That was a great movie. I really liked the lemon tree ritual he had. :)

I don't know if it is still there, but the bike was on display in Pomona, CA at the NHRA musuem last fall.

I don't remember the lemon Tree ritual ? was that when he skinned the tires?

He peed on the lemon tree every morning.

And when he went to the US, he had the kid do it for him. That made me laugh.

This is on my list of favorites. I saw it one night when I couldn't sleep. Watched it alone without any interruptions. Just great. Hopkins is always good even if the movie is not. Here both shone brightly. Burt is my hero.

I have seen it twice now and it keeps getting better.

Do a Google search on Burt and learn more about this wonderful story and the Man.
