  1. N310 under a 180 precision delta was always my limited go to load.
  2. Welcome, south central Missouri for me. Several USPSA matches available within a couple hour drive
  3. I put a set of volquartsen target grips on a mark3 and they were much better suited for bullseye than steel challenge.
  4. Maybe he got brownie points for shooting major
  5. Check the bolt that holds the rocker arm to the frame. If it loosens up you will get inconsistent results and seating depth will not change, no matter the adjustment.
  6. I’ve asked myself the same question as my consumption is about the same. I just can’t justify the expense for the low usage. I’d rather use the cost of press upgrades on more components.
  7. I have had good results with n310 for 9mm and 40 s/w. It seems to meter very consistently and burns clean.
  8. Everglades ammo sells 155 grain plated bullets also.
  9. I have no accuracy issues at all with the .3545 bullets. Just preventing setback. I still use them regularly.
  10. I experienced this before also. I chose to size the brass with a U-die and solved the issue. I think it was EGW or Lee branded.
  11. If you intended on shooting many major matches I’d make sure I could acquire a backup that’s very similar.
  12. Yes the SP-01 you reference will be ready to go. You may want a little different grip texture or shape. There are also different trigger shapes that are available as well as common springs that can be changed but this is all minor and preference driven. It’s a great competition pistol.
  13. Take a bristle out of a broom. It’ll get you by.
  14. Check out available pistols from CZ Custom. They normally have tuned SP-01 shadow or shadow 1 frame guns with RDS plate cut available. I prefer the shorter frame pistols so it was a good option for me. Stuart is great to accommodate whatever your needs are.
  15. I have a set of Ruby’s I use with fiber optic front sight. I like them a lot, the contrast is great and yes the red fiber does pop out really good. The only downside so far is they do need a fair amount of sunlight. On cloudy days where it’s not very bright I prefer the gold hd lenses. I would purchase them again.
  16. Have you checked the depth of the hold down die in the swage station. Maybe the mark could be from upward pressure caused by the swage rod?
  17. Welcome Josh, I’m in central Mo also. I’m sure I’ll see you at Ozarks classic.
  18. I’m using #12 sprinco with 5.4 sv sighttracker barrel, 40 major.
  19. Another alternative to bulge busting is to case pro the brass before loading. This made my failure rate nearly nonexistent.
  20. If it’s all the same brass I’d check the swage rod adjustment, might have some tight primer pockets.
  21. I have had some rounds look like that before but when it happened the press bound up decapping a piece of brass, I found my decapping pin was bent. I chalked it up to the vibration moving the primer out of position at the exact time it’s being seated.
  22. I’ve loaded quite a bit of Nobel sport Vectan BA-10 with both coated and fmj 115 bullets. Seems to work well down into the 90 power factor range if you tune the pistol for it.
  23. I’ve had good results with 115 grain coated bullet using Vectan BA-10, about 3 grains is good when sprung properly.
