Just make sure your mags with them still fit the gauge.

Agree 100%, anytime I change a basepad on a mag I validate that it passes the gauge, if it doesn't then a little filing is necessary on the back lips.

Had Dawson’s for a few years, just switched to TTI and I won’t be going back

I've been using Dawson's for a few years as well, what are the reasons you switched TTI?

Ipsc box standard Dawson on my 126mm idpa mags.

Grams on my 140mm 40 cal mags

TTI on my 140 mm 9mm mags

I went with IPSC  box standards for 126mm. Per Dawson, they're only held in place by the spring.  Have you had any trouble with them coming off? They don't seem as secure as stock plates. Slide back a little.

I actually drill a hole in the center of the IPSC box standard base pad and use the sti star keeper. Works great.  I have used them this way on my 9mm and 40 since 2006.  It makes getting the base pad off so much easier too.
