Dr Mitch
Anyone have any idea where I could get thicker than standard 1911 grip panels? I have large hands, and have found this season that I like a very large grip frame. Googling such a subject has not been helpful. There seem to be a number of smaller options, but not larger options. StraightSh00ter
Roco grips makes grips with palm swells. I got the silver/black blanks and they are ~1/16" thicker at the bottom of the grip, plus the palm swell: http://www.rocosystem.com/competition-grips/
bishop414
I went with these along with arched msh. http://www.amazon.com/Pearce-Grips-Rubber-Government-Equivalents/dp/B0002INNYU
BeerBaron
These make a 1911 close to a 2011. Hence the 19-20 name. Very popular on comp shooters who want a 2011 size grip on their single stack. http://www.dsperman.com/products/1920OF/1920OF.html

It looks like the Perman is the way to go. they look and feel great too, and if you ever seriously take up limited division, they will make the transition between guns easy-peasy. dogtired
These add a mm under your regular grips. Aircooled6racer
Hello: I just like the 1/4" thick ones with an aggressive texture and flat bottom. I have seen guys who made shims to go under the grip panels to space them out. Thanks, Eric
