Are you worried about pushing your sights?

Hold the "brass" to a magnet, just a coating. My sx 2 would not run the federals, but the suprema 1 oz loads (1300 fps) run great at about the same price. Can't feel any difference in my m2 recoil wise.

I bought, and shoot a spartan, and there are some "issues". Rear sight is not a Bomar, but another cut I have yet to determine. The front sight cut is also different. I basically dumped the internals and put in quality stuff. The barrel is accurate, so for the price it was ok. The gun is slightly overweight with a magwell. I also have a Trojan in .40 And like it quite a bit.

Be careful tightening your mag button as it can widen the grip on the side where the screw is.

It seems all the parts should be fine for a single stack, but before I "pull the trigger" so to speak, I would like to make sure. I have three in 2011's, and love the pull and reliability. The time I used to spend MAYBE getting a good trigger is well worth the cost.

Don't drop them on pavement or concrete, but mine have lasted a good while. I have Dawson, Grams, and TTI, all work fine.

if you have any type of hand, wrist, or elbow trouble the muted recoil impulse of a 2011 can be important.

Does anyone make a hang compatible with Bladtech holster that is NOT adjustable and fits firmly on a 1 1/2" competition belt? All the play when the lousy little adjustment bar falls out is driving me crazy.

I love my stainless smooth. I have always had grip tape type grips and like to be able to replace it when I want. For me the weight was important to help with an injury. It was not drop in in my case with an STI frame. I have real concerns about transition with this much weight, but it is not a choice for me.

I just had an old SV version installed in a pt grip. There is some play (up and down) but it doesn't bother me. You might try the new SV interchangeable.

Interesting thread. I have never lapped rings, and frankly, have not necessarily committed to top of the line scopes. Lots of variables in the mounts and scopes, heights above bore etc. it is also interesting to see experienced people with strong opinions. I'm starting to get good things, rifle wise, and will go through the process with each optic. I guess I will roll the dice and do the things at least some experts agree on.

Graham, IMR-4064, just under 2600 FPS. It was used on game so I forget that most don't need down range energy. I always end up feeling like a bullet ought to be able to do something when it gets there. Super round for a young person. I seem to remember that the 162 is supersonic farther in 08 than a similar 180 grain in 300 win mag, but I could be wrong.
