100% confirmed! My G34 shoots left! Now what do I do?

I posted about a month ago about my new G34 shooting left. I had to move the sights to the right to be POA. Before I get everyone saying its my grip and trigger ect it's not. I used a Ransom rest at my range and with the sights centered on the dove tail it shoots 3" left at 20-25ft. It groups very very tight. I had 4 rounds touching.

I used a caliper and am positive the sights are centered!

Knowing that I have established 100% that my gun shoots left what do I do to fix this? Could it be the barrel. Barrel crown looks normal and the locking block is nice and tight.

What will fix this problem. I suppose I can drift the rear sight but I want it to be centered. Drifting the sight about .025 gets it POA right in the center but it looks horrible on the slide.

What should I do? Would a need barrel fix it? Send to glock? Help?

I'm very frustrated I just spent $650 on this glock it's got less than 1000 Rds through it.

Maybe you guys are right just drift it and live with it. Gun functions flawlessly and it's super accurate just shoots left.

Does anyone know the part or component that would cause this? Maybe a lone wolf barrel would fix it? What do you guys think?

Call Glock and see what they have to say. They have very good CS and will probably send you a shipping label if you ask for one and tell them you'd like them to take a look at it.

I've heard of someone with a simular issue who said he replaced the locking block and that fixed POI. Maybe find someone else with a G34 and try swapping locking blocks and barrels (one at a time) and see if either makes a difference.

Drift the rear. I have a G21 gen 3 I use in CDP and my G34 for ESP that has the sights drifted.Every other Glock I own shoots strait with sights centered. My trainer thought I had shooting issues when he saw my sights.....until he shot the guns and held tight groups ! LOL

This is actually a factory feature of the GLOCK platform. Most GLOCK users exhibit aggressive trigger control during a dynamic critical incident, so the sights are adjusted to compensate.

Heheh.

Simple Solutions to Common Gun Inaccuracies:

Problem ---> Solution

------------------------------------------------

Gun Shoots High ---> Aim Low

Gun Shoots Low ---> Aim High

Gun Shoots Right ---> Aim Left

Gun Shoots Left ---> Aim Right

Note: If more than one problem exists you may need two simultaneous corrections. For example, gun shoots low AND left ---> solution would be to aim high AND right. Hope this helps :)

As others have noted, it doesn't matter where the sights are relative to the slide (as long as they're not falling out) as long as, from a rest, the bullets are going where you want them. You might also find that aftermarket sights have to be adjusted to completely different points relative to the frame, or that you have to adjust both the front and the rear to be off center in different ways. Basically whatever makes the gun work.

Just drift the rear sight. That's why they make them that way.

+1 It's a glock. It's made to be defensive pistol. You're lucky that the groups are that tight. I've definitely had some that wouldn't even come close. Sounds like you got a good one. Knock the sight over a tiny bit and shoot the hell out of that gun!

I'm curious now. I just got a Dawson CRP 34 and haven't shot it yet. They come with Dawson's Perfect Impact Sight-In Guarantee and the rear is centered perfectly in the slide. Not exactly sure what kind of accuracy they're guaranteeing from a Glock but I'll let you know what happens.
