  1. I know it's a little early to ask, but do we know, rumors or inside info about the 2017 Limited/ Open Nats location, if it's on the East coast again next year all go to Frostproof this year, if it's coming back to the west coast all sit this year out, pricey trip last year of course had to stay at Disney World good time.
  2. Mont1120 Enjoy your new gun, and welcome to limited.
  3. GM is our gold standard, I think to get promoted to GM you should not only have the classifier scores, but also a level III match win, high gun in your division.
  4. The good news for Cali so far is that were 140% for rain fall so far, hope it keeps up.
  5. Most likely a State Match will have Chrono stage to check that your ammo meets the required PF for you division, hopefully your local matches promote safe gun handling if so you are ready. Have Fun.
  6. Welcome fellow Golden State Shooter, your Kimber in 45 cal is a great gun for our sport, have fun, hope we cross paths at a match.
  7. First time I've shipped ammo to a match, (Nationals)what is the customary time frame, week before, two or three weeks before. Thx

  9. Me too, I'm in squad 10, but wanted to shoot pm, am, pm, cause I'm staying in Orlando and didn't want to have two very early drives, hope this gets corrected and I can still change if I have too.

  13. Oh what flack jacket said, I can shoot a USPSA match every weekend and only once drive over a 100 miles, and that range is on Pacific Ocean nice way to spend a weekend, it's not all bad here. Good Luck Steve
  14. Yea Jigsaw, your moving to beautiful area, and yes Redding is a great club, they just hosted one of Cali biggest USPSA matchs the Golden Bullet, check out the results on Practi score, and you see the number of guns per division, about the same ratio as any match in the country. Steve
  15. Jigsaw if your going to sell your gear, bring it to Cali, regerster it with Cal DOJ which is no problem, and all buy all of it, and all regerster all of it with DOJ, there you just learned one way we get gear here in Cali 100% on the up and up with DOJ.
  16. Bring you gear, go to matchs and have fun, once your hear you won't be able to buy the gear you have mentioned like you used to buying it, but you'll learn how we deal with it. Steve
  17. Here in Cali we shoot all the same equipment the rest of country shoots, getting equip is the tricky part, but that's not your question, you legally own your gear now you can own it here, your mags you have owned them since 1999 and that's your story and stick to your story, nobody will hassle you about equipment. Don't know what part of the State your moving to but in Central Cal, are club Is Central Cal Pistol League, or CCPL, we host two Five stages matches a month, and one Steel Challange a month, we average about 65 to 70 shooters a match all scoring is on Mini Pads we have are own network load the results on your phone before ya leave, or when ever. Good luck with the new job and move, hope to see ya at a match. Steve
  18. Congrats on you new eagle, yea 185 PF is a handful, keep your SS that's a great division, nice to change it up once and while.
