MAC702
Only 20 rounds past 200 yards? Darn. Long range is the best part. Edited March 17, 2015 by MAC702
kurtm
Well if it is anything like the last 4 years you won't be disappointed on the shooting challenges presented by rifle shooting. Remember RANGE doesn't need to be long to be challenging. Its all about presentation!!!!
tbaca
Yeah you may be standing on your head or in the pretzel position!
Chuck Anderson
20 rounds LR is about par for the course at most 3 Gun matches. Much more than that and the LR portions dominates the event. And takes forever. We all can't shoot the LR portion as well as Kurt can. Besides, I'm going to go through lots of long range shots. 20 required, multiplied by my crappy aim, add in poor trigger control, and... That's over 100 long range shots! bikerburgess
20 past 200 is not what worries me, what worries me is what Pete make you do to shoot the 100 to 200 yd targets

Mbauer67
Any idea when we are going to start seeing more information on the match, like stage layouts, more specific round counts, etc.
TallGuy
Any idea when we are going to start seeing more information on the match, like stage layouts, more specific round counts, etc. Also, can we ship ammo to the hotel? If not, where? - And nobody say "My house!"
ziebart
I think Pete is accepting ammo shipments if your hotel does not. Iscopellc.com has an address and contact info. I don't think you will see stage briefs until right before the match.
zmanktm
Is there a round count yet?
TallGuy
Is there a round count yet? From http://multigunnationals.com/ Round Counts: 225 pistol 225 rifle 100 birdshot 13 slugs 20 shots past 200 for longs. Also, I contacted the Suncoast Hotel and they were more than happy to accept ammo. I would double check with the hotel but this is to where I sent it: c/o Suncoast Hotel & Casino Your name here 9090 Alta Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89145 ATTN: Security Dept. I'll caveat this with the fact that I am staying at the hotel. Not sure if they'd accept shipments from non-guests. Good luck.
NMBOpen
Expect a "Handling Charge" to pick up your ammo at the Suncoast.

BritinUSA
Expect a "Handling Charge" to pick up your ammo at the Suncoast. Hmmm.... they didn't mention that part... I heard that some hotels will base that handling charge on the weight of the package.
bikerburgess
I shipped my ammo there a few years ago and it was either $20 or $30 for handling, it is based on weight and that shipment was about 35 lb. If I remember correctly.

RAZZ
It would be standard USPSA rules, right? So no sling required that I know of, though I am one of the few guys that runs a sling all the time anyway. I use the Galco Safari Sling, set up for very quick lock-up if I want it for support. No sling allowed--unless shooting Open Division. I can't find a prohibition on slings in any division, perhaps you could provide a reference. (Kurt you beat me to the punch!) Doug My bad. Must have been one of the rules changed over the last few years. At one point in USPSA multi-gun, slings were only allowed in Open.
mo4
Are there berms available at the range on Thursday where you can shoot, check gear, check rifle zero?
ziebart
There are bays, but I don't know if the range will open them up for public use. Normally it is limited to 1 paid member to 4 guests.
