Are there berms available at the range on Thursday where you can shoot, check gear, check rifle zero?

I made one out of a deer cart and I think it works way better than the stroller method. It is much more compact (easy to fold down flat and also easy to remove wheels), has large hard rubber tires (no flats), is easy to move around and pivot and it was pretty cheap to build. I was really happy that the balance worked well with none, one or two long guns, also with a bin or no bin on the platform. I know that steel shot is a no no but can you use copper plated lead shot in three gun matches? Is it ok to shoot steel with it? I'm looking for something that can turn a spinner with a little more giddy up than the standard WM target loads I am using.

Thanks fellas for the information. I realize I might be hijacking my own thread here but your response got me thinking. I am currently loading weak hand from the belt. I was thinking about the saddle for when I am at slide lock and need to quickly get one in the chamber so I can load the rest. What is the generally most accepted way to do this? I'm pretty new to 3 gun if you didn't notice. Grab 1 throw it in, hit the release, grab three, load three, grab 4, load 4? Grab 4, throw one in, hit button, load three, grab 4, load 4? Grab 1 from saddle, hit button, grab 4, load 4, grab 4, load 4? Does this make any sense?

I have been looking around and don't see a lot of side saddles specifically saying they are compatible with a Versamax tactical. Can some of you who have added one let me know what has been working well for you?

I was wondering what is the rough max number of shotgun shells we will need to be able to carry during a stage? Looking forward to the match!
