I've been trying to get Pete to use the high power range so we could put full size rifle paper out to 600 with the pits for scoring. I know that would bring up the number of rounds expended, but I don't know if USPSA would be OK with ROs/competitors in the pits or if the range would let us use that area.

Fix the Popper in place and use a flashgun sensor... no pit crew needed.

ETA: I read "paper" as "popper" - I should never post anything past my bed time. :roflol:

Yes it does work for RM3G, but I wanted to see paper at distance, and flash target won't activate with paper. The whole point is the shooter wouldn't know if the hit the target until after the stage was over.

As for match hotel, no new information on that.

You should have got an email but if not here it is..

Only 50 rooms so book fast...

Here is your information for the 2015 Multi Gun Nationals.

The Suncoast Hotel and Casino will be the match hotel

for the 2015 Multi Gun Nationals.

The address is 9090 Alta Dr., Las Vegas, NV

89145

Phone is 866-816-7111 or 702-636-7050 or book on

line.

The code for our shooters is

A5UMC04

We have a block of 50 rooms and they are first come, first

serve. The block expires

3/21/15.

Our room rate is $55.00 for Thursday 4/23 and Sunday

4/26. $95.00 for Friday 4/24, and Saturday 4/25

There is a 12% resort fee and 12% tax that is not

included in those prices.

The Hotel is very near the range and has lots of

restaurants

, movies, ect.

Remember when the block is used, the rooms will be full

price.

FYI...Registration and check in for the match will be Thursday

4/23/15 at the range. NOT the Hotel. Also, awards will be at

the range on Sunday 4/26 after the match. NOT at the Hotel so

plan your stay at the hotel accordingly.

See you all there.

Dotty

It would be standard USPSA rules, right? So no sling required that I know of, though I am one of the few guys that runs a sling all the time anyway. I use the Galco Safari Sling, set up for very quick lock-up if I want it for support.

No sling allowed--unless shooting Open Division.

That is incorrect. You may run a sling if you wish. That was rules on last year. I run a Ching sling, all the time, and they wanted to bump me to open from limited, I protested and come to find out....well yes indeed it is ok to have a sling in the other divisions.

I can't find a prohibition on slings in any division, perhaps you could provide a reference. (Kurt you beat me to the punch!)
