Well if it is anything like the last 4 years you won't be disappointed on the shooting challenges presented by rifle shooting. Remember RANGE doesn't need to be long to be challenging. Its all about presentation!!!!

20 rounds LR is about par for the course at most 3 Gun matches. Much more than that and the LR portions dominates the event. And takes forever. We all can't shoot the LR portion as well as Kurt can. Besides, I'm going to go through lots of long range shots. 20 required, multiplied by my crappy aim, add in poor trigger control, and... That's over 100 long range shots!

Any idea when we are going to start seeing more information on the match, like stage layouts, more specific round counts, etc.

Also, can we ship ammo to the hotel? If not, where? - And nobody say "My house!" :)

Is there a round count yet?

From http://multigunnationals.com/

Round Counts:
225 pistol
225 rifle
100 birdshot
13 slugs
20 shots past 200 for longs.
Also, I contacted the Suncoast Hotel and they were more than happy to accept ammo. I would double check with the hotel but this is to where I sent it:
c/o Suncoast Hotel & Casino
Your name here
9090 Alta Dr.
Las Vegas, NV 89145
ATTN: Security Dept.
I'll caveat this with the fact that I am staying at the hotel. Not sure if they'd accept shipments from non-guests. Good luck.

It would be standard USPSA rules, right? So no sling required that I know of, though I am one of the few guys that runs a sling all the time anyway. I use the Galco Safari Sling, set up for very quick lock-up if I want it for support.

No sling allowed--unless shooting Open Division.

I can't find a prohibition on slings in any division, perhaps you could provide a reference. (Kurt you beat me to the punch!)

Doug

My bad. Must have been one of the rules changed over the last few years. At one point in USPSA multi-gun, slings were only allowed in Open.
