XRe
Goals for Dave........ Finish gathering equipment to play this game again (got the pistol, now need mags, leather, bag, Dillon w/ goodies, etc, etc).... Rejoin USPSA and get classified. Establish and stick to a dry fire routine at home. Find one or more practice buddys - esp. after getting the Dillon. Make progress on familial financials so that other toys may be forthcoming! kellyn
1) Win Limited Div at 3 Gun Nats and Tactical at Rocky Mtn 3 gun; 2) Prepare for 2006 IPSC World Rifle Championship in Standard Div.; 3) Get GM card in Limited Pistol; 4) Beat TGO in at least one of his DrillMaster drills (this may be the loftiest goal of all); 5) defeat the forces of international Islamic fascism.; 6) defeat Jerry Miculek by .8 point in anything. Jake Di Vita
I highly recommend you set another goal Q U I C K. The absolute worst times for a shooter is when they achieve a goal and don't have another one to start after right away. Bad juju.

TriggerT
Well, I was really hoping the Santa would bring me an "M" card for Christmas, but instead I continue to slowly loose a few points here and there in "A" class. So with that in mind my goal for 2005 will be the same as it was in 2004, to make Master in L-10. I was within less than 0.5% this year! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It took another 4 months, but I made it. Goal achieved, new goal set. Shoot consistently like a mid level "M" class shooter.
shred
Bumping this one back up to the top since the 2004 thread came back.. I've still got one left Shoot the Steel Challenge under 80, which I had to modify to 88 since the rules changed, but I'm below it in practice and getting close in matches. Dalmas
1) To see the sight on ever shot.2) To shot a MAJOR calibler gun to the best of my ability at the WS 3) Conquer 1 presidents medal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks to some good friends that in the 11th hour made it possible for me to competet at the WS with a major calibre gun, I had worked hard all year on a good mental plan but the with all the problems the month ut to the WS I was not sure if I was in the game when I got to Ecuador. I shot the match of my life, keep my focus on 35 of 36 stages and finished 18th (86.17%) in Standard, 2½ years after my first draw from holster and after only having shot 2500 rounds of .40 S&W in my life including the WS. Yes I'm proud of what I've done. The best of it all is that I've found out that I've got what it takes!

Sam
You can't imagine my relief when I saw that I hadn't posted any 2005 goals. Well, there is still time........ Construct an organized practice routine that focuses on improving my weakest skills and get back to shooting pistols after a 3 month layoff.
