bobby hated
so i finally DROS'd my first 9mm 1911, a SA Loaded. What are the best mags to use for this? the SA mags it comes with are 9rds. aren't there 10 rd mags too? and am i correct in thinking that 10rds is ok for single stack minor 9mm? thanks guys (and gals)
furyalecto
http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=151902 I was looking at this recently as well. 10 rounds is OK for SS minor.
dover0020
I am a big fan of Tripp Research mags. They have 10 round 9mm mags. Tripp research also has great customer service, give them a call they will take care of you.
Sgtsvi
I have used them all and Tripp are the best by a longshot. They are very reliable and well constructed.
polizei1
Tripp, Dawson Precision, or Wilson. I'm using Dawson Precision with zero problems.
R-Bros_JLR
My vote is for the Tripp mags although the Dawson's I had worked just as good. Either will work, the Tripp's just load easier and are way more shiny...which has to add style points to your shooting.
Mike21STI
Tripps are my go to mag, I have 1 Wilson etm that is now my barney mag because it doesn't run in my STI.

Kyreb
10 round Metalforms here. I am running a SA loaded and a custom Caspian commander in 9mm. These mags have been flawless.
ncopenshooter
Running Wilson ETM's in my SA 1911 and it runs all day with factory ammo.
jtaylor996
Tripps for me, but not for carry loads. They jam with +P stuff. I use the metalform 9rd mags for that.
JonF
Metal form or Dawson 10 rounders. Don't waste time with the Wilson or Tripp which tend to need "tweaks".
gator11
+1 Dawson 10rd. Top notch stuff, not 1 hiccup with my Trojan.
BigGabe
I also use the Dawson mags. They have ran great in both the Spartan I had and a Les Baer.
TonyT
My Dan Wesson PM-9 uses either the 9mm or 38 Super Metalform magazines with compelte reliability - great mags for ca $10 to $13 each.

DIFF
My Dawson's and Wilson's have always run 100% for me.
perjohn
My wilsons ran 100% for me in my trojan, but I switched to the dawsons simply because the wilsons are so hard to seat. So far, the dawsons have been great.
mgood
Dawsons have been impressive so far (about 250 rounds) in my new STI USPSA Singlestack 9. Edited June 4, 2012 by mgood
Steel Tammer
+1 on the Dawson. I have the same rig you have and it works for me!
The Captain
I have the Wilson 10 round mags that I bought on this site and they have worked great with factory ammo in my Trojan. I highly recommend them. I also added a flared mag well and oversized mag button. It is a sweet single stack gun. The Captain

Zmego
+1 for Tripp mags. Magazines have run flawless and the people at Tripp Research are fantastic. I just ordered some more mags and they were back ordered so I wasn't going to get them in time for my match...they when out of their way to make sure I got them on time. Too many companies have lost sight of who keeps them in business but not Tripp. I can't say enough good things about them.
